Piyali glanced at Nandini and begged her to save her from the punishment.

"Why are you still standung there ?. Go and prepare food for us. The list will be given to you." Samaya said. Nandini ignored her and went to Rani.

"Ma, as you know everything happened unexpectedly. Piyali was not at all prepared and everything is new for her. So please skip the punishment. " Nandini requested. Rani glanced at Raguveer who shrugged in return.

"Randir and Ranveer, what is your opinion."

"I am with Nandini. Piyali is only 21, just one year elder to Riya. In this age, marriage will not be in their thoughts. Give her some time to adjust with everything." Randir said. 

"Then what about us. Should we starve for her ?" Samaya snorted pointing at Piyali.  

Randir's words were running in Reyansh's head. He was feeling guilty because his one decision destroyed a girl's life. He stood abruptly gaining everyone's attention. 

"I am going. There is an urgent matter in office that I should handle." Saying this he moved his chair back and escaped from the area.

"But Reyansh, I told you to skip office today na." Nandini reminded him.

"Mom it's very urgent. I will try to finish everything quickly and come early as possible ." He said.

"Beta you didn't have your breakfast also."

"Daadi, I will order it from the canteen. Don't worry." He assured her with a smile before walking outside.

"Look ma, my baccha went to office with empty stomach and it's all because of her." Samaya accused Piyali and smirked inwardly.

 Piyali was burning inside. She controlled herself from smashing her head against the wall.

Samaya's comment triggered Rani as Reyansh is her favourite grandson. She stared at Piyali angrily who was glaring at Samaya.

"Why are you staring at her ?" Piyali's head snapped towards her. 

"Huh.."

"Samaya is right. Reyansh always had his food with us but today because of you he didn't." Rani pointed out. Nandini understood that she can't tame her again. The table fell in silence

"GET AWAY FROM MY SIGHT. YOU ALSO WON'T GET ANYTHING TODAY." Rani's final verdict made everyone shock except Samaya who smiled in happiness. 

"That's not fair. I am hungry." Piyali shouted at her. Rani as well as others were shocked as no one dared to raise their voice against her. 

"How dare you speak against ma." Samaya  snarled at her. 

"ENOUGH." Raguveer slammed his palm on the table.

"OUT." He ordered at Piyali who marched upstairs angrily.

Later the servants prepared food and served them. Except Rani Raguveer and Samaya others were eating with so much difficulty as they were worried for Piyali.
