Chapter 27

Minju's POV

It's been 10 minutes since I finally saw Yujin.. she's really here huh..

and I'm now currently waiting for Yujin inside her car,

She told me that she has to buy something and that she'll be back quick. 

after 3 minutes, I saw her on her way here, opening the door where I am

"why--" I was cut off because of her actions

She suddenly knelt down, and cuff the right bottom hem of my jeans 

"O-Oh I can do it myself" I tried to move but instead gave up in the end since she won't let go of it

She's not saying anything just quietly applying some medication on my ankle, right... I forgot about it twice 

The hospital's really busy these days.. 

after another few minutes she already finished, we're now on the way home.

"Should I say something..?" I thought to myself, looking out at the car's window. It's been so quiet for a while now..

Less cars, Less people around, night time drives.. Feeling warm and at the same time butterflies it's been a long time

I really can't believe you're here beside me. 

it's been a long time. 

a really long time.

We reached my house.. 

I was about to ask her questions but

"Rest for now. I know you're really tired and it's almost midnight, I'll answer all your questions next time" I heard her spoke, and suddenly pat my head 

"what-" I froze for atleast a minute and suddenly went into realization and went out of her car 

As soon as I went out of the car I haven't closed the door yet when my stomach suddenly rumble "oh this is really embarrassing, she must've heard it" I thought to myself, and closed the door 

"oh wait her coat I haven't--" I turned my head just to see her standing right in front of me now

"keep it and don't forget to eat meals on time" She mumbled, placing her coat on my shoulders. 

"Good night" She patted me one last time before entering her car 

"My face" I touched my face, It feels so hot

"Isn't it me who used to do that years ago.."

Heejin's POV

10:48 am

I saw those numbers in my clock, I was about to go back to sleep when realization hits me-- 

"I have to be at the airport at 11:30 am" I hurriedly stood up almost stumbling while on the way to the bathroom 

after a few minutes of taking a bath and preparation, I again hurriedly wear my coat and took my luggage while going downstairs.. I didn't realize my parents are downstairs oh right they're still worried if I'm okay

"oh I--" 

"Good morning moms! uhm I really gotta go now and if you're still worried I'm fine now, Goodbye see you guys next week at the airport, love you!" I waved at them and closed the door, entering my car really quick 

It's because of yesterday.. I don't remember what I slept but what I remember is I fell asleep at Hyunjin's shoulder if I'm not mistaken..? 

"that's embarrassing I'm so sorry.." I mumbled to myself

while driving on the way to the airport since I have a concert there the day after tomorrow. yep it's the start of my concerts all over the countries this is gonna be a long one, I can say.

But I hope it will end well

red light. and there's a sudden notification, an unknown number texted me.

"Good morning, This is me Hyunjin I got your number from Minju unnie. I just want to say I brought you back yesterday if you're wondering since you fell asleep and have a nice day today" 

So she's the one who texted me, I smiled. I'll save her number. 

just in case you know..

since I told the driver and my manager that I'll just go at the airport on my own. good thing I told them that since I woke up late than usual today. 

I arrived at the airport

"ah right. Minju's going to the concert but she's leaving tomorrow not today" 

"Will Yujin go too? how about Hyunjin?" 

"I hope the 2 of them also come" I whispered while looking out at the plane window

Minju's POV

5:29 pm, I sat at my chair stretching my arms 

I feel sleepy now.. until I heard something

My stomach growling "right.. I forgot to eat lunch" 

"it's almost dinner thoug--" 

"Dr. chou, Mrs. Cha is here!" 

"Alright!" I shouted back as another patient entered "I'm not that hungry yet I'll just eat later" I thought to myself

"Now I'm more tired." The last patient for today is done, I finished it all in my schedule so that I can take a leave for Heejin's concert. I hope they can come too.. wait I still have some medical papers to finish but-- 

*knocks* 

"ah yes who--" 

"oh it's just you Eunji" now why is she wearing that smile... and hiding something behind her back 

"what is it" They went nearer to me and placed all the foods in my table 

"healthy foods" 

"less carbs"

"desserts" a sticky note was attached to each bag 

"who's this for?" 

"here" 

"from now on I'll send you meals, you can't say no or deny it. it's me 2Y and don't worry it's not poisonous you can share it with your colleagues so spare some time to eat on time, Dr. chou"  

ah 2Y, it's a silly name yes but it's the one who always sends me gifts and flowers. I know nothing other than their pen name

"I guess their timing is right" 

as soon as I open it the foods are.. it looks 

wow. 

even Eunji's amazed, is this homemade? did 2Y, who sent this really cooked it by themselves?

wow.. as soon as I got the first bite. It's delicious more than that I can't explain it but it's really yummy. a familiar feeling especially when I eat the desserts 

"Thank you for the food Dr. chou! especially thank you to the one who sent this you know who" they smiled before they left 

While eating the last piece of the cupcake, it tasted like. it felt like

the feeling and it tasted almost like the one we always bake years ago.
