"Miss Kim, I have told you this many times before but it seems that I need to repeat it again. I am not looking for a relationship right now. I would rather focus on my work rather than tend to a relationship I don't have time for." The male let out a long exhale through his nose, his brows knitted together. His lips drooped down to a frown as he stared at the female in front of him.

"So please, stop trying to make me interested in you. Stop wasting both of our time. Do whatever it is you do and let me go back to work." And with that, he walked away. The rejected woman pursed her lips. His words echo in her head, making her sigh. She turned around, walking back to her office.

'Is it too much? Maybe I'm being too annoying.' Reaching her destination, (N) sat down on her chair. The sudden weight made the chair roll a couple of centimeters backward. 'I guess I just took the wrong type of approach.'

The next couple of days passed by, and the raven haired man was sitting in front of his desk. The sound of the keyboard clacking occupied his ears. His eyes scanned the screen. The letters and numbers blurred together, giving him a migraine. His hand reached out to rub his forehead in an attempt to ease his headache.

"Mr. Yukira, have you finished the-" A masculine, pristine voice called out, catching the attention of the aforementioned male. He flinched, his eyes getting caught on the voice's owner. "(C), you look a bit tired. Are you alright?" (C) looked up at his boss and, with a stern expression, replied, "Yes, of course sir. I'm just finishing out the reports we need for the P Company."

The brunette sighed, his gaze remaining on the slightly disheveled male. "You can take a break if you want. You've been pulling all nighters for the past few days now. Those eyebags aren't getting any lighter." (C) returned his gaze to the monitor. "I appreciate your concern sir. But I do not need a break right now. I have to finish these files first before your meeting starts."

The higher up concernedly stared at him. "Alright, if you insist. But I recommend taking a break after those files. As far as I'm aware, there aren't any major paperwork after this." The ravenette simply replied, "Yes sir." He tapped away at his keyboard. His boss went off, fulfilling his busy schedule.

As the hours ticked by, the young man saved his document, dragging the file into a folder before taking out his USB. "Alright, now to just print this and give it to Mr. K" (C) walked off, his eyes trained forward. Step by step, he grew closer to his destination.

The white door greeted him with a blank look. He let himself in and- "Oh." Looking to the corner of the room, his eyes met with blue ones. "Mr. Yukira." (N) greeted, shifting her focus away from the printer. "Miss Kim." He nodded. (C) walked towards the machine, stopping in front of it.

The two waited in silence. (C) watched as the papers slid down the contraption, the machine printing ink onto the formerly pristine white sheet. "Uhm, so..." The brunette woman started. She caught the attention of the other person, who stared blankly at her. "I'm sorry for... for pressuring you. I admit that I-I took it too far."

(C) nodded in acknowledgement, urging her to continue. She cleared her throat, before stating her invitation with a much louder and clearer voice, "So I'd like to maybe, make it up to you." She straightened her posture, lifting her chin and making eye contact with the man. Despite her pose, she felt her heart beating faster in her chest. The male doesn't seem to see through her act though, and replied,

"It's fine. I didn't expect you to do anything anyways. Just stopping is enough." Feeling crestfallen and guilty with the response, she countered it. "I insist! We could go to that café down the street, my treat!" The male rose a brow at the statement, making (N) shake her head. "Of course, it isn't really a date. Just my way to make it up for you."
