Nothing Was the Same

chapter 1

"Hey Lexi!" Vanessa called from her room.

We are having a sleep over and now getting ready to watch a movie.

"Yes nessa?" I yelled while walking out the hall bathroom.

"We should watch a scary movie!" Vanessa screamed back.

"Wtf nessa, you know i hate scary movies" i say while walking into her room.

"Exactly" she said with a smirk.

"Fine whatevs" i sighed jumping on her bed, finally giving up.

Its around 12 am and we are probably at the end of the movie, i can feel my eyes getting heavier. Next thing i know im falling asleep.

*Next morning*

I wake up to smell bacon and eggs. I love me some bacon. I walk downstairs to see Mrs. Hernandez cooking breakfast.

"Goodmorning Mrs. Hernandez!" I said while sitting at the table.

"Goodmorning Lexi, how did you sleep?" She replied while setting the food in front of me.

"Thanks and good" i made out while shoving food in my mouth. I guess i was really hungry.

i was almost done when i got a text from my mum saying to come home.

I thanked her for the breakfast then washed my dish and ran upstairs to get ready to leave.

I threw on some clothes.

*Outfit*

-chevron crop top

-high waisted pants

-all black vans

When I was done I ran downstairs and left.

Me and Vanessa have been so close, we were pretty much like sisters. I had a key to her house and she had a key to mine.

I decided to walk home cause I live like 3 blocks away.

"Mum!" I yelled through the house.

"In the kitchen!" She screamed back

"Hey mum what did you need me to come home so early for?"

"I need you to go upstairs and put on something nice. We are going out to celebrate for your dad. He got promoted today" she said while feeding my baby sister Kaylee.

"Ok" I replied.
