Shyam opened his son's door to peek in. Mathur rarely was concerned for no reason.

Shekhar was fast asleep, all his electronics were at the opposite end of his bed, across at his study table.

Shyam went in and picked up his son's phone. He hadn't needed to spy on his son for a long time. Today, he was just checking, he assured himself.

The lock screen had a picture of the father son duo. Shyam swiped to see the notifications. There were few mails, few messages but what piqued his curiosity was the 8 missed calls. Shyam checked the ringer. It was off. The latest call time showed 5 minutes ago. Who's he avoiding?

Arshi was in a much better mood the next morning. Shekhar had probably slept off, she assured herself. Why else would he not pick up her call?

But, a small voice inside her nagged at her, Shyam Uncle could have picked up. Arshi pushed that thought deep inside and locked it up.

She wanted to surprise everyone at work that day. So, when noon struck, she drove away in her new car, excited for the oncoming reactions.

When the receptionist let her in and she caught sight of Lavanya, she hugged her tightly.

"Angel, what are you doing here?" Lavanya asked.

"Just thought to visit. Will be busy from tomorrow na."

"That's true."

There was a commotion some cubicles away and the aunt and neice moved towards it.

Arshi's blood drained seeing a collapsed Shekhar. She ran to him.

"Shekhar! Wake up Jha, this is not funny!" She shook him. "Maasi, help me! "

Dhruv Rathi stood shocked seeing the girl approach Shekhar. He was even more shocked when Lavanya Takkar came towards them.

"Angel, he's going to be fine." She turned to Dhruv. "What happened here?"

"We were talking about going to lunch. He just said he didn't want to eat early and turned. Next second, he collapsed."

"He didn't eat?" The girl screamed at Dhruv.

"I don't know."

"Maasi, he's diabetic." The girl was about to cry.

"What?" Lavanya was shocked. "Mr Rathi, stay with them."

"Shekhar, please wake up yaar. I know I annoy you, but please, don't do this to me."

"You're Netra?" Dhruv asked. "Netra Takkar?"

The girl didn't say anything.

"That's why he pulled that stunt yesterday." Dhruv looked up to see Vishal in the small crowd that had gathered.

"What stunt?" The girl asked.

"Nothing. Come, let's take him to the cafeteria. And Vishal, instead of comments get me a glass of water."

Vishal did as asked. "If I knew his connections, I wouldn't have been that hard on him yesterday. Aman Sir must have been hard already."

Dhruv saw the people before Vishal did and smirked internally.

"I asked Aarav to come here immediately," ASR said. "Angel, he'll be fine."

"He's not even opening his eyes Dad!" The girl, Angel, yelled.

Vishal turned to see one Raizada, one Mathur, three Guptas and one Takkar.

"Did she just...?" Vishal asked.
