Beep, beep

"Ugh shut up!"

It was Friday, for most people a fun day. Last work day and then weekend. But not for Camila, Camila worked on Friday's and she hated it.

She wanted to have fun on Friday nights, go out with some friends and get totally hung over. But instead she was left working behind a bar until 11 in the evening, resulting in her being tired before the night life even begins.

Camila works in a beach bar. They were pretty small but had many clients. Every Friday was the same, the same clients, same orders. She was done with it. She needed something new, something exciting.

But what can a 20 year old do without a college degree?

Nothing.

Atleast nothing interesting according to Camila. Nothing interesting and affordable atleast.

"Morning!" Camila yelled as she entered the familiar beach bar through the familiar back door.

"Morning Cabello." Her manager greeted nicely.
"Here's today's schedule, you'll be doing the drinks in the middle section of our shop." He explained. "Oh and you're closing! So make sure you clean up before leaving."

"I will, thank you." Camila said before letting out a loud sigh after her boss turned the corner. "Dick."

—————

"So how can I help you today?" Camila asked after she approached the new guest.

"I want something alcoholic but sweet, any suggestions?" The woman asked.

She was truly beautiful. She was wearing denim shorts with a black bikini top and a floral headband around her dark brown curly hair. I mean... it was a beach bar after all.

Her eyes were the first thing Camila saw. They were a bright shade of green and sparkled in the sunlight.

"I uh- I suggest something with Malibu? It's a fruity alcohol. I personally love to mix it with pineapple juice." Camila said.

"Yes that sounds great I'll take that please." The stranger smiled.

Oh. My. God. Her voice. It was like it came from heaven or something. The raspiness was so hot. And the way her cheeks flushed from sitting in the sun all day was adorable.

Camila was defenintly blushing and it was obvious. "I'll be right back with your drink then." She said before quickly returning to the bar, screaming on the inside.

This never happend to her. Camila wasn't really the 'love on first sight' type of girl, but damn this woman seemed practically perfect. Too bad the manager has rules. She isn't allowed to ask any guest for their number, unless they ask first of course.

Well fuck, Camila was terrible at flirting. This would never work.

"One pineapple Malibu for you señorita." Camila said.

What the fuck? Señorita? Please that was so lame. Camila mentally slapped herself in embarrassment.

"Thank you." The woman replied.

"Do- do you come here often?" Camila asked to try and keep a conversation going.

"No this is actually my first time here. I usually go to the bar further on the beach, but the owners are out of town for the weekend." She said before taking a sip from her cocktail. "Mhm, this is really good, thank you."
