ALEXEI ENTERED THE roomto see his youngest daughter's head on his middle daughter's shoulder. "I am not doing this, so have fun Lena" Anastasia said as she exited the room.
"Ana!" Yelena yelled out, "You can't do this to me!" Anastasia laughed and said, "Have fun Lena! Love you."
"I came in here, because I didn't want to talk" Yelena said looking at Alexei. Alexei nodded his head and said, "We, uh... We just sit."
Alexei made way to the edge of the bed and sat down. Yelena gave him a side eye, but put her face forward, not wanting to look at him. In her head though, she was cursing at her sister for leaving her alone.
Anastasia made her way to the dining room to see Melina and Natasha staring at each other. Natasha sees Anastasia and gets up grabbing her sisters hand. "Where are you going?" Melina asks watching Natasha walk away still holding onto Anastasia's hand. "I would also like to know" Anastasia said ripping her hand out of her older sister's grasp.
"To do this myself" Natasha said still walking. "Well you obviously don't know what myself means. Myself means alone, not with your sister. Also you won't survive, even with my help" Anastasia said getting a nod of agreement from her mother, "She is right Natasha."
"I wish I could believe that you cared" Natasha said to her sister. "You kidding me right now Natasha. Of course I care! But we still need Yelena" Anastasia said following her sister.
"I was not talking to you Stasia" Natasha said making her way into the kitchen and turning the lights on. "Oh, you weren't?" Anastasia asked confused.
"No. Melina, you're not the first mother that abandoned me or Stastia" Natasha said getting an 'oh' look from her sister. Melina walked from the dining room and said, "No, you and your sister were not abandoned. You both were selected by a program that assessed the genetic potential in infants. You were young and they selected you, 6 years later your sister was born. They did the same with her."
"We were taken?" Anastasia asked as her and Natasha walked side by side to the living room, that was connected to the kitchen.
"I believe that a bargain was struck, your family paid both of you off. But your mother, she never stopped looking for you both. She was like Anastasia in that way. She was relentless" Melina said as she looked at Anastasia, who had tears forming.
"What happened to her?" Natasha asked as she grabbed Anastasia's hand and squeezed it tightly.
"Dreykov had her killed. Her existence threatened to uncover the Red Room. Normally, the actions of one curious civilian wouldn't warrant an execution, but, as I said, she was relentless" Melina said to the two redheads.
