Chapter 2

Pallavi couldn't believe what she was witnessing. Her husband or to be exact her supposed to be dead 2 years ago ex-husband was infront of her.

Sharda and Vijay, he ex- inlaws came towards her along with Mandar and introduced her. Sharda lovingly caressed his hair and said "This is your wife Pallavi, Pallavi Deshmukh"
Vijay too nodded his head accepting it.

Mandar who was looking at her with confusion now beamed with happiness. He said " That's why even after forgetting everything, I stiil remember your name because you're my wife. " Saying this he hugged her.

Feeling him hug her, Pallavi came out of the initial shock and pushed him hard. Mandar stumbled back but was held by Vijay and Sharda who looked at her with anger.

"Pallavi" shouted Sharda shocking everyone as she was the one to always support her. "How can you push him like that, can't you see he's injured." Pallavi then noticed the bandage on his forehead.

"You're his wife Pallavi, you should take care of him" Sharda said softly after realising that shouting on Pallavi was out of character for her.

"Stop it, stop it" Pallavi said after having enough of their rubbish. She stood confidently and replied in a stern tone "Amma, Raghav is  my husband and I'm his wife, so stop addressing me as Mandar's wife"

"But Pallavi, we thought Mandar is dead, so since he isn't, you are still his wife" Vijay told her

"Enough, I came to inform Amma that Raghav is in hospital,but it's a waste coming here and now I'd take your leave. My husband needs me" She turned to leave when Mandar caught hold of her hand.

"Pallavi, in these 2 years the only name I remembered is yours, I didn't knew what was my identity, but our love was so strong that even though everything was wiped from my memory, my heart still remembered " Mandar said to her with love.

Removing her hand from his hold she said "Mandar, ours wasn't a love marriage and we weren't even married for a day, so there isn't any question of love. This is your family who loves you and they suffered a lot. And I'm Mrs. Pallavi Raghav Rao, Raghav is my only husband and love. Now I'll take your leave"

In the hospital, Raghav was awake and asking for his wife. Infact he was using every ounce of his "The Raghav Rao" tantrums to meet his wife.

Pallavi entered the hospital premises thinking how to tell Raghav about Mandar. She was nervous and scared about his reaction. At last she had come to a conclusion that she'd tell him after his discharge.

Entering his room, Pallavi frowned hearing her husband shouting, literally threatening to kill the hospital staff if they didn't let him go out.

Shaking her head at her ever so hot tempered husband, she went near him and to her shock he pulled her towards him when he saw her.

Leaving the couple to themselves, the staff went to their own work. Pallavi scolded Raghav for creating a ruckus in the hospital and trying to get up when he's injured.

"Do you know how I felt when you were unconscious, lying in the damn hospital bed? How worried I was for you? How I feared what will I do if something happened to you? I felt as if everything was finished" She shouted at him, tears sliding down her cheeks.

"Why? " Raghav whispered

"What? " She asked stunned not able to reply.

"Why Pallavi? Why we're you worried? Why it makes a difference if something happened to me? What does it matter to you if I live or die..? " Raghav asked, he wanted to hear her reply, her feelings.

"Shut up" Pallavi seethed in anger "How dare you Raghav? How can you ask me something like that? Don't you know that I... " She stopped realising what she was about to say.

"I... What, Pallavi? " He asked wishing to hear those words.

Knowing that he probably want her to confess her feelings, Pallavi looked down, nervous to say those words. "I.... " She was smiling and blushing as she said " Love..... "

"Anna... " Barged in Farhad. He looked at his Anna and Bhabhi. Pallavi was looking like a red tomato and Anna was looking at him like he wanted to kill him.

Farhad didn't know what he had done wrong but nevertheless passed on the information for which he came, that the doctor is discharging Raghav.

At last Farhad and Pallavi took a sulking, glaring and angry Raghav home.
