Married To The Cold Guy

*TRING TRING!* You opened your eyes after hearing your alarm clock. "Aarghh! This alarm-" you groaned as the alarm ring annoyed you. It was monday and obviously you never wanted this day to arrive, you loved sundays because you can watch movies and eat the whole day. "Let's get ready y/n, it's already 8 am, time to go to work!" You said to yourself while getting up from your bed. You did your morning routine and got ready to go to your office. You worked as the product manager in Kim Companies, you loved your job because that's what you always wanted to become and you also got paid well, but as your parents died in an accident when you were only 7 years old, nothing was really happy in your life because you loved them . You entered in the company's building and greeted your colleagues there with a smile. You were in your cabin when one of the staff came and told you that Mr. Kim has called you in his cabin, you nodded and went there. You knocked his cabin door "may i come in sir?" You asked, "yes" the reply came. "Please have a seat y/n" Mr kim said, you smiled and sat down. "How are you?" "I am good sir, thank you" you replied with a warm smile at which he smiled back. He cleared his throat and said "Y/n actually I called you here for something serious", you replied "yes sir, please say" "actually you are a very good person y/n and you are more like a daughter to me" you gave a confused smile to him, 'why is he saying all this to me?' you asked yourself. He continued "I want you to marry my son Taehyung" you chocked on your saliva, "I'm sorry sir but what?" You asked him in disbelief. Kim taehyung, the CEO of the company and also the son of the chairman. He was a cold guy who barely talked to people in his company, though he was a good boss but he was a cold person. Mr Kim replied " I know y/n this might be shocking to you but thinking about Taehyung worries me a lot, the boy who used to be a very cheerful person has turned into a very cold person because of the situations he faced after his mother's death and I know only you can change him and make him a loving person again" You listened to Mr Kim's words and observed his concern "sir, i need some time" you said. Mr kim replied "oh sure y/n i am not forcing you. Think about it and tell me till evening" you gave him a smile and left his cabin. You were still in shock that how in just 5 minutes everything changed. You were looking outside from the window and you decided to marry Taehyung, you were concerned about Mr Kim also, you worked under him for 5 years and you both grew a bond like father and daughter, you can't deny him like this. You went to his cabin "sir may i come in?" You asked. Mr Kim looked at you and gave you a smile which u returned back. "So on what conclusion you reached?" Mr Kim asked. You hesitated a bit then replied "sir, I'm ready to marry your son" Mr Kim looked at you with a joy in his smile, he was so happy that you were ready to marry taehyung. "Thank you y/n, thank you so so so much" he was so happy and looking at him you smiled too. "I've set up a date for you both, you can go there and get to know each other a little better" he smiled while saying. You nodded and bowed to him before leaving.

Time skip : in the restaurant

You were there sitting alone and waiting for Taehyung to show up. It was about 30 minutes and you were about to leave because you thought he won't come. As soon as you were about to go a voice stopped you "Y/n?" You looked in the direction of the voice to find Taehyung standing there in his black three piece suit with that cold expression on his face and a bookeh in his hands. He looked so breath taking, you never really noticed that he was that handsome. His exposed forehead was just cherry on cake. You came back in reality and greeted him a hi. He gave you the flowers he bought for you. You flashed a smile to him. Both of you sat down. None of you spoke anything and It was kinda awkward between you two, so you thought of taking the first "how have you been?" You asked taehyung. "Yeah i am good" he replied without looking at you which kinda hurt you but you shrugged it off. You guys talked about somethings and it was always you who was saying things and Taehyung was just giving short replies to you. After the date ended, which even you don't know what kind of date it was, you both went to your home. On your way to home you were only thinking about that how you will adjust with Taehyung who don't even look at you and talk to you properly. You were so deep in your thoughts that you didn't even notice where were you going. Suddenly a truck appeared in front of you and you snapped out of your thoughts and turned the steering wheel and just got saved. Your heart was racing at max speed "Oh god..i almost died today" you said to yourself, just after this you thought about your parents who died in an car accident only. A tear rolled down your cheek, you wiped your tears and drove yourself to your apartment.

Taehyung's pov

I came inside my room and went to my bed. I sat down there and thought about
Y/n, 'she really got ready to marry me?' I asked myself in disbelief. "How can someone get ready to marry a cold person like me?" Y/n is a very charming and matured girl, I've been seeing her since 5 years working in the office. She is very dedicated towards her work and really not the type of person to get involved in love or something. She is so sweet, ngl but i little bit liked her. I always act so cold because i don't want people to know my inner feelings, but y/n, she's different i felt so good with her. I didn't wanted to show interest in her because then she would've knew that i like her which i don't want her to know. But now we are getting married which i never really imagined in my life. I will try my best to make her feel loved but i don't trust her also, i never trusted anyone completely with my heart because anyone ever came in my life just used me. I hope y/n is not going to be the same.
