With the bar cleaned up, you were getting ready to walk home. It was around two-thirty in the morning and you sighed.

You hadn't expected to see your brothers but you weren't upset about it. Despite your hard and cold exterior towards them, you still loved them and you were happy to see them and rekindle your relationships with them.

Not like you'd mention that to them.

Well it was Saturday now and a little past six in the morning. Needless to say, you weren't getting up anytime soon. You chucked on your favourite show, curled up with a cup of tea and enjoyed the autumn morning.

Well you would've enjoyed it is someone wasn't ringing your phone every five minutes.

"And suddenly I'm extremely popular." You muttered sneaking a glance at you phone.

It was your mother.

Your eyes widened and you scrambled to pick it up.

"Hi Mom."

"Why didn't you pick up." Her tone of voice made you gulp nervously.

"It was early in the morning and I thought it was Zeke." She was silent for a moment before laughing.

"Okay then. Anyways, how are you?" She asked. You sighed and told her everything that was going on. When you mentioned that you saw Zeke and Eren she got extremely excited.

"Oh! I'm so glad that the family is getting along a again." You cringed.

"I'm trying mom. I suppose."

"I'm really proud of you, you know? You're doing so good baby." Her voice softened and you smiled.

"Thanks mom. I love you."

"I love you too. I'm excited to see you and your boyfriend for thanksgiving."

You sighed softly. "You know he's not my boyfriend." You denied. Your mom clicks her tongue impatiently.

"If either of you had the balls to confess, I could've had grandkids by now." Your jaw dropped at your mother's words.

"Mom!" You screeched. She just cackled into the phone.

"I'm not kidding though. Love you bye baby." She laughs, hanging up after you say "I love you too."

You sat there staring at your phone as you thought for a minute. Thursday. That's when you'd be home for thanksgiving. It was a three hour drive to the house and you'd stay for two nights. With your long time crush.

Your phone ringing once again brought you out of your thoughts. You eyed it skeptically before picking it up with a sigh. It was Sasha.

"You'll be my maid of honour, right?!" She screamed into the phone. You winced at the volume but a grin formed on your face nonetheless.

"What about Connie?" You joked and a sigh was heard from the other line.

"Niccolo said no." You laughed before replying.

"So I'm the second choice." You snickered.

"No babe I love you!" Sasha fake whined and giggled.

"Isn't it too early to plan the wedding?" You wondered out loud.

"Honestly, the two of us knew we were gonna get married the minute I ate his cooking." She admitted.

"I love how it wasn't love at first sight but rather love at first bite." You chuckled before gasping. "Oh my gosh that's gonna be in my maid of honour speech. 'Love at first bite.'" You shook your head at your genius idea.

"I- damn you not wrong though." Sasha laughed.

"Anyways I'm really happy for you Sash." You said, smiling even though she couldn't see you. You got up and walked to your bedroom as you spoke.

"Aw thanks babes. When are you and that guy getting together?" She immediately asked and you could hear the smug smirk in her voice.

"I swear if I could go a day without someone bringing Colt up I'd be so happy." You sighed in frustration.

"Now I never specified who it was." Sasha sung triumphantly. Your eyes widened as you groaned.

"Ugh I've got it bad Sash! It's been years!" Whining, you flopped back onto your bed, swinging your legs up.

"Girl just hurry up and ask him out. I'm sure he's been hopelessly pining for you for years as well." She advised. You sighed and shook your head.

"I don't want to do anything that could ruin our friendship. Why do you think I tried to distance myself from him?"

"And how'd that go for you? I'm pretty sure the whole universe just wants you two to get together." Sasha laughed before sighing softly.

"Seriously (Y/n). You need to take initiative and grab onto him. You're lucky the universe has given you this long. You might lose him forever if you don't make a move." Her voice was soft and stern. Sasha wasn't an idiot and she was there to help you through a lot.

"Thanks Sash." You smiled gratefully. She just chuckled.

"Of course babe, I've always got your back. Ah gotta go, Nic has made breakfast." She said excitedly. "Love you girl."

"Love you too. Bye!" You said before hanging up. With another sigh you rolled over onto your side.

Maybe it was about time you confessed your feelings.
