Caleb Caddell

Caleb Caddell was a 17 year old kid who had long black hair and blue eyes that could pierce you like a dagger, he had an intimidating figure but deep down he was a gentle giant. He was home alone one evening while his mother and father were out for their anniversary. He was always glad to be home alone because he liked having some sort of freedom which his parents rarely gave him. His parents were extremely strict on him and forced him to focus on his grades, due to this he didn't have many friends. Before his parents left his father told him to not enter the basement due to his fathers work being down there. Caleb's father seemed extremely hesitant to leave his son home alone but his mother insisted that they go out for their anniversary. Caleb went to the kitchen to make himself some Ramen as that was one of the few things he knew how to make. He turned on the TV to watch something while he ate, when he sat down he heard screaming but he dismissed it as he thought it was from the horror movie he was watching. When he finished his Ramen and turned the TV off so he could go back to his bedroom and play video games. When he turned the TV off he heard the screams become even louder and more desperate. Caleb's heart dropped because he knew it wasn't the TV anymore. He then hesitantly went to the basement door and he heard cries coming from the other side. Even though his father told him to not enter the basement, he opened the door. The basement light was flickering and the cries could be heard clearly, Caleb slowly creped down the stairs to find a man chained to a table. He couldn't believe his eyes, he thought he might be imagining what he was seeing. His father was a monster. Caleb saw The Man had been tortured severely. The face was removed and The Man's skull was showing through his torn muscle. Caleb vomited violently due to the horrific view of the man and the awful stench in the room. He saw the keys on his fathers workbench that also had bone saws and large knives hanging above. Caleb then grabbed the keys to unlock The Man from his restraints but realized that the tendons had been cut out of him. The Man's ribcage could be seen as his skin was ripped and torn off and hanging on a wall under a sign that said "Trophies". He helped The Man up the stairs as he was extremely frail and weak, when Caleb got up the stairs he dialed 911 to at least try to get him help. Caleb's Father and Mother came home to see Caleb in extreme anger. He started to scream at his father while going to the kitchen to grab a knife, he then yelled at his mother to move away as he charged at his father and stabbed him in the gut. His mother tried to stop him but in a furious rage, he slit his mothers throat. Caleb froze realizing what he has done; he has killed his own mother in a fit of rage towards his father. His father lays on the floor crying and choking on his own blood that he is coughing up. The mother lays lifeless on the floor with blood leaking out of her throat; Caleb standing up with blood all over his hands drops the knife he was holding. The cops bust through the door and see him standing over his dead parents, Caleb points to the stairs where The Man is sitting, as Caleb he looks over and realized he isn't there anymore. Caleb goes panic and starts to repeat over and over "I didn't do it, he made me do it". The officers' ask Caleb "who made you do it". He remains silent and his eyes focused on the floor as he points towards the basement. The officers' search the entire house, starting with the basement: when they start to make their way down they find nothing in there except some gifts for Caleb's birthday that was soon to come up. They find Caleb upstairs laughing hysterically as he started to realize that all along while he was growing up he realized that he was always willing to kill his parents. Deep down he resented them and blamed his parents for the fact that he didn't have any friends. The Man had pushed Caleb over the edge to kill the people he wanted to the most. The officers' started to read off Caleb's Miranda rights and placed him under arrest for the murders of both his parents. As Caleb looks up, he sees The Man on his knees grinning and stated "I have given your true desire to you Caleb, farewell...".
