Thursday My alarm went off it was 4:30 in the morning I sucky hit my alarm. I realized today was the day me and Julie will be going to Minnesota. I jumped out of my bed quickly and ran to julies room. "Jules wake up today is the day aren't you excited." She was already up and was wearing jogging pants and a hoodie I was going to wear. We both head out the door after we called out cab to pick us up at 5:30. By the time we got our suitcases and bags it was already that time. We head out into the cab and put our suitcases and bags inside the trunk of the car. We both head in the backseat and tell the driver we were going to the airport. He agreed and started to drive.
We arrived at the airport and thanked the driver as we finished payed him. We took our bags and headed in the airport. I saw julie looking scared I put my hand on her shoulder and she looked at me. "Don't worry Jules everything is going to be alright nothings going to happen to you as long as I'm here alright?" She nodded then I saw her put a smile on her face. It made me happy seeing my little sister smile. Yes I know we're twins but I'm 12 minutes older.
We are suppose to board our plane at 7:30 it was only 6:30 that means we still had an hour left. Julie was sleeping in her chair. I got hungry so I decided to go get myself something to eat.
I was walking to the cafe they had in the airport when I ran into someone. "Oh I'm so sorry." The guy said I didn't say anything I just started into his eyes and he stared into mine we stayed like that for about 20 seconds after we pulled apart. "Oh umm it's alright. I'm Y/N Gaffney by the way I'm going to be playing for team USA in the Olympics and you are?" "Oh I'm river, river phoenix and I'm also going to be playing in the olympics I'm playing basketball and what sport are you gonna play?" He said grabbing a seat at a table and offering me to sit. "I play hockey me and my sister can't wait." He was very handsome and all we talked some more and got to know each other more until I checked the time. Damn it. It was already 7:20 I had to get to the gates before it closes. "River are you going to Minnesota because i am?" "Yeah I am we should probably leave now or else we might miss our flight." "Agreed we both put our trash in the bin and started walking to get out luggage.
I woke up Julie telling her we needed to go on our way there I told her all about river and how he was charming and hot. Yes he was hot. We got to the gate and I saw river. We walked over to him. "Hey river ready to go?" "Yeah I'm ready." I introduced him to Julie and she didn't find him that attractive but we have different taste so it's alright. We boarded our plan sadly me and Julie weren't sitting together but it's alright she's good with flying I took my seat by the window and found out river was sitting next to me. How cool is that.
