Chapter 10

''Alright mom I'm going outside.''

''Ok be back by 5 dinner will be ready then.''

''Ok.''

He hugged and pecked my cheek then went ti hang with his friends outside.

Bentley came walking inside bleeding his clothes all torn up.

''Oh my god baby what happened?''

''Mom these dogs came out of no where and attacked me.''

Justin walked out of the room.

''Holy crap Bentley.''

Bentley hugged me.

''Aww here lets clean you up.''

''What happeend?''

''He was attacked by dogs.''

We walked into the bathroom and he sat on the counter. He's not even crying when I was his age if that happened to me I would been crying like a little baby. But I had a 2 year old so I was always inside.

''Ok baby this might hurt a little.''

I started cleaning up his scratches as he winced. I blew on the cuts to help them from hurting. 

''Justin call animal control.''

''Baby there not out there anymore.''

''Just call them and tll them what happened say there probably out there somewhere.''

''Cant we just call the police?''

''No baby the least we could do is sue the owners and they would take the dogs away now unless you know who the owners are we cant do anything but at least try and have the dogs captured.''

''Mom I know who the owners are.''

''Who are they?''

The doorbell rang.

''Jay could you get that please?''

''Ya.''

''Thank you.''

He went and answered the door.

''I am so sorry about our dogs is your son ok?''

I stopped what I was doing and walked out there.

''Sorry? That's all you can say. I am sueing your asses, your dogs are supposed to be on a leash in the house or backyard not wandering around like it's ok. I have a 7 year old and a newborn baby on its way and if I cant let my kids go out to play because of your dogs then thats not fair. My kids have the right to be outside and not be scared to be attacked.''

I then shut the door in her face and looked at Justin.

''Call our lawyer.''

I walked back into the bathroom and finshed cleaning him up.

''Ok baby go get dressed and I'll make you some hot chocolate.''

''Ok.''

He got down and hugged me then went to get dressed.

I smiled.

''I'm gonna go get Amber from the bus.''

''Ok.''

Justin kissed me and left. I went to the kitchen and made Bentley his hot chocolate. He sat on the couch and I handed it to him.

''Mom can I watch Finding Nemo?''

''Of course.''

I put it in for him and sat next to him as it played.
