Snt X Classic

Chapter 1

As Snt awoke, she could hear a battle going on outside her window. She peeked out and saw Eggman and Sonic in the midst of a battle. As always, Sonic had the upper had. Oddly, Eggman didn't seem to be fighting back. His egg pod was parked on the ground with a sheet over top of it. The doctor was barely even trying to defend himself. Snt, however, took no notice of this. As much as she hated Eggman, she couldn't let him die. After all, he was the one who created her. She was indebted to him just enough to not let him die. Not unless he caused something awful. Eggman and Sonic fighting? Typical she thought, and walked outside to end the fight.

"Ah! Snt, I merely came to show you my new helper, but this little rat decided to try to kill me!"

Eggman sounded honest, and he was a terrible liar, so S put her hand on Sonic's shoulder causing Sonic to blush and shrink back, embarrassed that his 'girlfriend' as he thought, had to stop him from attacking Eggman.

"Well, where is the new robot?" Snt asked, "I'm sure Sonic and I can take it."

A young creature that looked like Snt walked from behind Eggman's Egg Pod. She was the exact height, weight, and body shape as S, however, she had red fur, rather than blue, orange eyes, instead of green, and her clothes were purple, with a slight military theming. She seemed to have some mechanical parts in her, whether they were bionic feet, or simply metal boots. Sonic had to keep himself from staring, but Snt did stare. Not imagining fantasies with her as Sonic was, but at the gem in her hand. It was familiar, like she had seen it before, some place, some timeline, some dimension. That's it. She thought, That's the Phantom Ruby. She has it. Eggman has it. We are going to die.

"Snt, meet SOR, SOR, meet Snt. There, now you know each other. Can we destroy them yet?"

"Not quite, Master Eggman, and I'm no robot." SOR said, her voice had a sharp, metallic sound to it, while being incredibly smooth.

"If you're not a robot, what's up with your feet? What are you, a cyborg? That's nearly a robot."

"Clearly you didn't learn nothing from the time in my lab, Snt."

"I was in your lab for two hours before it was destroyed."

"Doctor, are you sure this is the right decision? Sonic and Snt aren't your only enemies, and there's no guarantee that the Phantom Ruby can even survive this. Perhaps we should wait and preform more testing."

Rouge could barely finish her sentence before the slap rang through the morning fog. "Don't you dare speak to your employer like that. Would you rather be starving in the forest like you were when he found you? We could arrange you to be freezing to death once again."

Starving? Cold? But this was Rouge! From what Shadow had told her, Rouge had been a master thief. How could she not afford a house? Or food? Snt had no time to ponder this, however, as Eggman's sore throated voice tore through her fantasies.

"SOR, stand down. Rouge is an asset to us," He seemed like he had a plan. He seemed to have military focus. This was unlike the doctor. He was usually impatient and impotent. It seemed as if a drill sergeant had trained him for his entire life. "Now activate the ruby and let's destroy them!" That was more Eggman like.

SOR gripped the Ruby with such ferocity that it began to crack. Her hand curling around its odd shape, in her other hand she held a chaos emerald. Rouge held other emeralds in a small bad, wrapping it around SOR's left arm. Snt could feel the intensity of the emerald's energies combined with the unstable ruby.The power of all the emeralds was too much for the Phantom Ruby to handle in its current state, and it exploded, leaving a flash of bright light before total darkness, and SNT woke up again.
