'Hi' - xxkiiroisenkoxx

CHAPTER 1 - 20 days ago

"Miss. White! Pay attention to class!"
I snapped out of my daydreams and turned my attention back to the whiteboard, filled with questions, answers and numbers. It was just the same ordinary day for me at INCA highschool.

I'm Maia White. I was an ordinary 17 year old girl that attended INCA highschool. The only highschool in town. I had one wish and that was to someday go outside my town. My town is surrounded by many other towns, each said to be unique in their own way. But everyone knew that I will never go out. Because those that do are punished, and punished meaning killed. The INCA government are the ones keeping us in and keeping others out. But no one knows why they do it... it's a mistery. One I want to solve.

*bell rings*

Ah finally, the bell...

"Maia! Over here" I heard Emma call out to me, from under the oak tree.
"Hey, you walking home today?" I called back.
"Sure, you coming?" She asked as she walks up to me.
"Okay" I replied.

Walking down the streets of INCA we are told to be careful, gangs formed by school drop outs prowl the streets, looking for people to rob for money or clothes. We walk silently down the streets just enjoying each others company.

"Hey, Maia I have to turn into this street, I have to go somewhere else today." Emma said suddenly.
"Oh... Alright I'll see you tommorow then." I replied as she waved and turned into the lone street leading to who knows what?

As I walked the streets alone I realized just how creepy the alleys are at evening. I heard a shuffle behind me and whipping my head around I scanned the area behind me and when I saw nothing I was scared shitless. I quickened my pace for my walk - no run- home.

I turned the last corner for my house and I almost sighed in relief as I could see the silhouette if my house, then suddenly the shadows seemed to twist and turn, lashing out like flames ready to devour me. I just stood frozen, cold sweat running down my back, frightened by the seemingly supernatural shadows. It was then when a black shadow lashed out at me and binded my hands and as I lost consciousness from the hit to my neck, I stared up into dark red eyes that were staring down at me, those dark red eyes reminding me of blood.
