Author POV
3 days later
Jimin looked at his laptop blankly. He put his left hand in front of the screen and took in his ring. His favorite ring that he only take soft when doing something that could get it dirty. The ring his best friend gave him. He smiled at the fond memory before sighing.
"Jimin could you come down here please?" Jimin's mother asked from downstairs.
"Coming." He replies before shutting his laptop.
Jimin gets downstairs and walks towards where his mom is.
"Jimin we are going to have dinner with the new neighbors." She claimed with her hair done and patting her dress down.
"What?" Jimin said dumbfoundedly.
"Go get something somewhat nice on." She instructed while shooing him upstairs.
He sighed before looking through his clothes. Choosing a navy blue tropical print shirt with a navy blue button up and white capri slacks.
He goes back downstairs and receives a nod from his mom before he has a cake pushed into his face to hold. He grabs it before he and his mom leave the house.
The two get over to the neighbor's house and knock. A lady with large doe eyes and a pretty smile opens the door. "Ah! My you haven't changed a bit!"
"Oh stop! Look at you!" Jimin's mom giggles.
"Jimin, my how you've grown!" The woman spouts.
"Ah, thank you..."
"You'll remember soon enough." She smiles before welcoming them in and taking the cake out of Jimin's hands.
The two took their shoes off and walked into the dining room where almost everything was set up. Only a few food dishes were missing. The two found a seat on the 6 person table. With Jimin and his mother sitting on one side.
"Excuse me?" Jimin says getting up. "Where's the toilet?"
"Oh, upstairs the first door on the right." The ahjumma answered. He bowed before taking his leave towards the bathroom.
