Her parents always worked leaving her alone with her big brother, Yuu. She lacks love from her parents making her a little too attached to her big brother.
When she met Miku, her life changed for the better. She began to show her true emotions and became more of a social person not just hanging around alone. Thus making her what she is in this present time of the story.
