Masumi and his friends from the basketball club go to the Oarai Highschool, Where the tournament is held. He look at the tournament information. There is 16 team. Using knockout method. And Suguremashita All boys HS is going againts the Toromoi HS.
In the tunnel where the players go in, Shigeru meet his rival and childhood friend, Rengo Rengo. They trash talk a little bit. Then go back to the changing room for motivational speech. They go out when their name got called.
Masumi do streching. He got called by the commentators.
Commentator 1: MMasumi Ardi!!!!!!
He go to the court and handshake with his friends. He look at the crowd. He see Satoshi and do their handshake.
Coach Hector: Starting 5 is going to be Shota, Hiraki, Masumi, Shigeru, and Haru.
They make circle with their hand on the center.
Masumi: Troph on 3. 1!! 2!! 3!!
Everyone: Trophies.
They start go to for the tip off. Haru win the tip off the ball for Shota.
Commentator 1: The first quarter is starting and Suguremashita win the tip off.
Shota call for screen from Haru. He set the screen. Shota find Hiraki open for 3. Hiraki missed the 3.
Commentator 2: He miss the shot and the rebound for the Toromoi center, Joji. He pass to Rengo.
Rengo: Let me teach them how to shot 3.
Commentator 1: Pull up from deep 3. It's good.
Shota wants the ball he still doing the same play. But, fake pass to Hikaru and find Shigeru for 3 now it's good.
Rengo: Oh it's on!!
Rengo now make some play. Masumi guarding him. Rengo can't go anywhere.
Masumi: CLAMPS!! CLAMPS!! CLAMPS.
Rengo pass it to Joji for easy layup.
Masumi wants the ball. He bring the ball up. He drive in and no look pass for Hikaru in the corner 3 and make it.
Commentator 1: What a pass from Masumi and a nice 3 point for Suguremashita.
Rengo got mad and he start playing prison ball (Play it rough). Rengo drive with his elbow move and he makes it. He bump his body to Masumi. Masumi didn't like it.
Masumi wants the ball. He throw the ball to Haru. Joji was dumbfounded and foul Haru.
Commentator 1: Aaaaand one for Haru. He goes to the free throw line.
Commentator 2: First foul of the game for Joji.
Rengo was mad to Joji meanwhile Haru make the free throw.
Rengo take the ball. He find Masumi start defend was hard to blow by. Rengo pass it, but it got intercepted by Shota. Shota fastbreak and finish the layup.
Rengo didn't take the blame and he push his teammate.
Rengo: Where was the off ball movement you piece of sh*t.
The first quarter end with 15-7
Commentator 1: First quarter end with 15-7. I think the game was balanced, but i the more i look at it from the Suguremashita HS. The floor general was Masumi Ardi here.
Commentator 2: But, he didn't score once. Welp, just look at the next quarter.
Tomoroi begins the 2nd quarter.
Rengo pull up from mid-range is good.
Masumi wants the ball. Joji guard him. He blow by and posterize Rengo with two handed windmill he hang at the rim.
Commentator 1: He blow by the thight D. Aaaaaand oooooooh he poster Rengo and put his nut on his face!!!
Commentator 2: I think Rengo was mad. He wants to punch him.
His friends keep Rengo away from Masumi.
Rengo: Hey don't act like you already winning, you first year arrogant, you b**ch, come fight me you dumbass.
Masumi: Okay *Thumbs up*.
Tomoroi HS call timeout.
Rengo bring the ball. He drives and pass it to Joji. But, Joji got blocked by Masumi. Masumi pass it to Shota. Joji running back for 2 vs 1 Fastbreak.
Commentator 1: 2 on 1 Fastbreak. Shota Alley oop pass to MMMMASUUUMIII. HOW DO YOU DO!!!
Commentator 2: oooh get up stairs young fella.
As Masumi throw it down the alley oop dunk.
Masumi finally score and make 3s too.
Q2 end up with Suguremashita 22- 16 Tomoroi.
Some plays in the Q3.
Commentator 1: He bring the ball up to the floor. Hey C2, Masumi is now on fire he make all of his 3.
Commentator 2: Yeah he is.
Masumi guarded by Rengo. He play a rough defend. He look at Shota open, but he crossover it and break Rengo ankle. He do a step back. He look down on Rengo and do a little shimmy.
Comm. 1: Crossover. Oh my god. MASUMI JUST MAKE HIS ANKLE AND BODY KISS THE F**KING EARTH.
Comm. 2: GIVE THAT GUY A MAP.
Masumi Shot the three and didn't see if it's going in.
Comm. 1: OH MY GOD, HE MAKE IT. Such a disrespect from the 1st year. Suguremashita HS, His going to be your hero!!!
Comm. 2: Stop overreact, Comm. 1.
The game end with Suguremashita 41-29 Tomoroi.
Comm. 1: And that's it. Suguremashita first time win the first round.
Comm. 2: They finally make some history.
All of the crowd in that game was hype all around.
