Take note: For those that might have forgotten,Mew is currently 20 years and Gulf is 19 years with their 3 years old Jay and a year old Mira.
Mew was limping a bit on the road with his kids,they were on their way to the city. He took them because he couldn't leave them alone at home to look for a job.
Half an hour later,they arrived in city and got down from the transport car. He then carried them on his arms and started walking on the streets trying to figure out where he would go look for a job first. He had no other reason to keep hiding from the city as Gulf had returned to his parents which meant he might no longer be wanted by his father.
"Dada we are hungry" Jay said after a while
Mew smiled at the innocence of his son as he knew nothing of the hardship of life,he then smiled sadly at his children and thought of how he would get money,he just used the last cash he had for their transportation.
'Should I go back and sleep with my ex boss??..no I can't bring myself to do it..I can't sleep with anyone that isn't Gulf though he has abandoned us,I have to look for another means of survival' Mew thought to himself
So Mew kept limping trying to figure out how to feed his children before looking for a job,he noticed that some people were looking at him weirdly because was limping with two kids looking so tired but he didn't bother with their stares rather he was more focused on how to feed his kids that morning as he had gone short of money.
He saw a small restaurant where foods were being sold and walked into it,he met an elderly woman at the counter and approached her..
"Good morning ma'am" greeted Mew to the woman
"Good morning dear,what is your order?" asked the woman calmly
Mew felt lucky that people were not around there as he would have died of embarrassment from what he was about to ask for
"Please Ma'am can..can you please give my two kids some food?..they are very hungry. I cannot pay for the food but I can do some menial works for you like washing all the dishes for today..they are really hungry,please help me ma'am" Mew pleaded
The woman looked at them in pity and decided to feed them,she gave them a place to sit,she then left and came back some minutes later with a tray with three plates of big rice and meat.
Mew was surprised when he saw the quantity of food served and also when she served a plate of rice for him too
"Thanks ma'am but you wouldn't have..I just wanted some food for my kids" Mew meekly said
The woman then smiled..
"Don't worry about that son,you look so tired so I also brought some food for you and you don't have to worry about washing any dish,I have people who do that for me,just eat up with your kids,let me go get some drinks for you all" she said
Mew then smiled gratefully at the woman and thanked her profusely,she smiled and left to get the drinks. Mew then kept Jay to eat his food on his own as he could already eat with no one's help,he then took Mira on his laps and started feeding her as he also ate
A minute later,she came back with the drinks and water for them and Mew also showed appreciation before she took her leave to attend to the customers that just arrived.
After a while,the woman came back and sat opposite Mew looking a them,Mew felt weird at how the woman was looking at him and his kids,he had a feeling she wanted to ask something but he waited for her to talk first.
Finally the elderly woman voiced out her thought..
"Son you said that these two kids are yours..sorry but how old are you? You look young to have two kids and your son is quite small and handsome including your tiny beautiful daughter,you look as young as my grandson" said the woman with a smile
"I'm twenty years old ma'am" Mew replied politely
"Twenty?? That young? Wow I really don't want to intrude into your personal life but where are your family? Where is the person that gave birth to your kids? Don't tell me your family abandoned you with your two little kids!" The woman said getting quite annoyed with the thought of the young man and his kids being abandoned
"Uhm..actually ma'am I'm an orphan,I don't know who my parents are and as for the mother of my kids..uhm he..he is quite busy for now. I actually came to the city to look for a job but I had to look for a place to feed my kids first luckily you helped us,I'm really grateful to you,it's been quite a long while since we ate a good meal like these,I appreciate it a lot,not everyone would have helped.
"No problem son,just eat up with your kids..everything would be alright okay" she said and Mew nodded. She left to give them privacy to eat.
When Mew and his kids were finally filled up and rested a little,he then stood up to meet the woman
"Thanks for the nice food ma'am,are you sure that you don't need me to do any work for you? I would gladly do so ma'am" Mew said
"No my son..you don't need to stress it,I would also do same for every other human that needed my help,you're just like a grandson to me so no worries and I also love your two cute kids already,couldn't bear for them to go hungry. You're looking for a job right?" asked the woman and Mew nodded enthusiastically
"I saw a job advisement poster on my way coming here,this is the poster *gives it to Mew* I actually took this to give it to my grandson but he still isn't back from the place he travelled to work at so I guess it's your luck,you should try and go today..I pray you would get the work as the company is a very well known business company in Thailand and all over the world" said the woman
Mew wanted to cry at the kindness of the woman..he was really really touched
"Thank you Ma'am..thank you so much,not everyone would do this for me..I mean you're giving me the opportunity to have a work you wanted for your grandson..I really don't know how to thank you for what you have done for me and my kids" Mew said almost at the verge of tears,not many people have been so kind to him ever since he can remember
"It's alright son,don't worry about it..take care of your kids and yourself,Goodbye okay" she said with a sweet smile,Mew then nodded gratefully and left with his kids.
On his way to the given address with his kids,he then unfolded the poster once again which the woman gave him "VACANCY FOR A CLEANER AT JONGCHEVEEVAT COMPANY"
He didn't really know why the name written there seemed so familiar to him but he shrugged it off and headed to the company with his kids.
