HUNTING FOR A KILLER (some oc x y/n thing)

Alright, 20 minutes go by and both you and Taeru finally made it to the crime scene.

What did you expect coming here? blossoms coming from the ground? god falling from the sky to tell you a prophecy? were you expecting frogs to rain from the sky? Of course you fucking didn't, you came to a crime scene for fuck sakes.

So of course, you were expecting to see what a real massacre looks like up close. Bodies all slaughtered and sliced, blood pouring from the walls to the floor, the haunting view of the place that used to be clean. It was like you were in a horror film.

This killer really cares for one huh? Seeing this for yourself, all you can think about now is how lucky you are, to not be at this place at the same time the massacre.

Hell, there's even children in there, CHILDREN. This serial killer really doesn't care for anyone in the world huh? 

"Oh god... I knew it was going to be awful but look at this... I feel so bad for everyone here" Taeru mumbled, loud enough for you to hear him. "Like.. they all had families and friends, and to think there was no survivors... It's like the grim reaper came and took them all away from this earth." 

Grim reaper? Well it does look like it. You go to try and comfort your friend but they just stepped closer to the crime with a sudden gasp, as if he had found something extremely haunting. So you follow behind him and when you see it, you paused as well.

There, near the entrance of the building, was a woman around her 30s, her body sliced in two, the white dress she wore scarred red with blood, and her lifeless body told you that she died instantly. It did take you a while.. but then you realise why Taeru was haunted at this specific sight. 

It was his mother.

Tearu's mother was killed in the massacre.

You watch as your friend, who was so energetic and curious about this, just drop to the ground onto his knees in disbelief. Just by the loud, heartbreaking scream he let into the air was enough for you to realise that he was... torn. Just. Torn.

No wound could hurt him more than this.

Taeru ran over to his mother and just held her soulless body in horror and anger. You wanted to help him, you wanted to go to him and tell him everything was going to be fine and his mother was safe now. But no matter how convincing you can try to sound, it'll never change the fact that he just lost his mother.

Then, you hear him mumble something, so you step a bit closer to hear him better.

"I'm going to kill them.." you hear him mumble. "they took my mother away from me... she was the only family I had... They don't deserve to live after what they have done!" Taeru finally stood up and talked louder, as if forgetting you were even here with him. "You hear me serial killer!? I'll hunt you down and make sure you never see the light of day ever again! You'll pay for killing my mother!"

You go over to try and comfort him, but he just storms off, shoving you to the ground while he does so. You guess it's best that you leave him alone for now... maybe tomorrow you'll take him to concealing, because it doesn't seem that Taeru will be the same now after seeing this.

Then, it hits you.

You're alone now. 

You're by yourself, at a place where a serial killer has taken almost over 50 lives. 

This wasn't good, so best you go home now right?

... 

Maybe staying a bit longer wouldn't hurt, I mean you are dumb but it might be more safer to go when the police arrive, so someone can escort you home safely. 

So till then, you decide to go and explore a little more. And, after hesitating for a few seconds... You walk into the building.

It was haunting, the bodies of people who were just, trying to enjoy lunch... their souls were just torn right out of their bodies, to think that only one person was responsible for all of this. 

You feel yourself about to vomit, maybe it wasn't best you stay here any longer, so you make a run for it back home before you make yourself more sick.

Then, you pause. Something feels very off with the area you're in. As if something... or someone... is watching you.

You check your surroundings in case someone was following you. But nope... there was no one in sight. Weird... You shrug it off as if it was just a feeling, and walked your way back home. But then the feeling returns... 

Yep, no doubt about it, someone is watching you.

You began to run, because if you stay here any longer you are as good as dead. You don't dare to look behind you, no, you kept your face lowered, only looking directly at the ground beneath you. If this person was stalking you, then you needed to get out as fast as you could, because who knows what this person could do if they catch you.

You keep running...

and running... 

till you can't run anymore, and while slowing down you end up tripping over your own feet.

You slowly get back onto your feet and rub your head, you're only bruised on the leg, no major injuries. Good, you can keep running now-

"Heheh~" 

You freeze in fear as you hear a low chuckle coming from somewhere, and as you turn to face who it was. You immediately came face to face with someone...

The person was hiding in the shadows, but you know they were looking directly towards you with their glowing, dominant red eyes. They let out another chuckle, and that's when you knew something was definitely wrong.

Then it hit you like a rock.

"Aww... running I see? I like running as well, so how about we have a race to see who's faster? I like racing people~" 

It was them.

The serial killer.

And you just made eye contact with him

All you can do now... 

Is continue running.
