Louise Hamilton

Problem: My first ever best friend is fighting with me. Now I found out that she's been stabbing me behind my back in front of my enemies. What should I do? She knows everything about me.

Advice 101: Hun, if you're sure she says those bad things about you, well, drop her like a hot potato. I'm sure you've got a lot of better friends than her. So if I were you replace her with someone better. I, myself know it would be hard to replace her. But it's your choice and your life. Good luck hun. -Rainbow

I sigh and run my hand through my hair as I trudge down the hallway to the library.

"Excuse me." I say to the two girls who are chatting near the library's entrance. Not once did they ever look up from their conversation as they moved to the side to let me pass.

"Thanks." I mutter quietly.

I weave through the bookshelves and tables to get to the back where my friends usually stay.

"Hey." I say as I reach their usual table at the far corner of the library.

"Hi." Lana says while not looking up from her textbook.

I look to Jane seeing her using her phone. A phone I can't afford.

"Hey Jane." I greet her.

She gave me one of those nods as a greeting as she continues to text on her phone.

It's probably Kenny, her long time crush.

Lana Walker, she's been on the honor's roll since third grade. She's the smartest one out of us three. She's really known for her smartness, especially in a school as prestigious as this.

Jane Miller, she's the most outgoing one in our three person group. She's very well known for the newest gossip, especially in the 'popular' group.

Now me, Louise Hamilton. You probably think I'm some fancy, rich kid because of my last name. But, I'm actually not. I'm actually here in this prestigious school thanks to my art skills.

I'm probably the least known out of the three. It's seldom people actually know my name. But they probably know me as the unknown girl who's friends with the smartest girl and the gossiper. And maybe because of my glasses and my loud laugh.

"So, what's going around the rumor mill?" I ask Jane.

"Hmm. You know, the usual." She says, still not looking up from her phone.

I nod as I take out a book to read to pass the time.

"Oh wait. I've got new info." Jane says as I finish a chapter.

"Info as in, gossip?" Lana asks in a bored tone as she goes over her notes.

"Yes. Gossip." Jane replies shamelessly.

"Apparently, There's this website that has been a total hit for teens. I mean, some adults actually use it too!" She says in disbelief as she continues to stare at her phone.

"What kind of website?" I ask curiously.

"An advice website. I mean it's totally cool! I even tried it out last night." She says in excitement.

"What's it called?" Lana asks, now interested in our topic.

"Advice one o' one."

"Is it really that big of a deal?" I ask.

"Totally! I mean, it's the hottest thing in America right now. It was even featured in that famous gossip channel." Jane says with a tone saying 'duh'.

I smile mischievously.

"Well, okay then."

I pulled out my phone since I didn't need to study anymore, for I have no finals left to take.

I opened up the wechat app and tapped on a contact.

lou_hmltn : Our website's a big hit!

I waited for a reply for a few minutes before my phone pinged.

arabella_l : OMG really?!

I smiled as I typed in a reply.

lou_hmltn : I'm serious omf

arabella_l : EEEEP!

I laughed as I read her reply and exited the app.

"Is there anything new about Arabella Lynch?" Lana asks.

"None, so far." Jane says.

Arabella Lynch. She's the most popular girl in this school. And maybe even the whole town! Her family's the reason why my grandpa's company has gone bankrupt.

But no. I don't actually hate the girl nor her family. And my family's surprisingly civil toward the Lynches.

Arabella or Ara and her friends are the most popular people in this school. So basically, they're the "It" crowd.

But what nobody knows is that Ara and I are actually very good friends. In fact we are also the people behind the most successful advice blog in all America.

Advice 1 o' 1

No joke.

"Hey I've got gossip!" Jane says alerts us.

"What about?" I ask since Lana seems uninterested in the topic.

"Apparently, there's a visitor waiting to see you right now." She says.

"Who? Me?" I ask.

"Oh. No, that bookshelf behind you." She says sarcastically.

"There's more!" Jane says enthusiastically. "Arabella Lynch also has the same visitor." she added.

"How do you know all this?" Lana says, finally contributing to the conversation.

"I just do." Jane shrugs.

"Arabella Lynch and Louise Hamilton please report to the visitor's lounge immediately."

The three of us turned to look at the overhead speaker before all of the people in the library's gaze turned to me.

"Umm... I should get going." I muttered as I fixed my things.

"See you later." They said in unison.

-

I arrived at the main office after a long walk full of hearing people gossip about the reason why Ara and I were called to the visitor's lounge.

"Hey Ara." I greet as I see her outside the visitor's lounge.

"Hey Lou." She greets. "Who do you think is waiting for us?" She asks.

"I have no idea." I answered honestly.

"Well, c'mon."

I opened the door to the lounge and held it open for her to walk in.

I immediately spotted a girl about our age with long blonde hair that reaches her mid back.

She turns around as soon as she hears footsteps approaching.

I gasp as I meet grey eyes full of different emotions.

"Jordan?" Ara and I said in unison.
