Lani Lodge recently moved to Riverdale from New York trying to build her relationship with her parents and her sister Veronica.

Before the other Lodges left for Riverdale, Lani was living in her friends house. But they didn't tell her they were moving away, leaving her behind.

Back in New York she had been given the opportunity of starring in the biggest film in NYC. She decided to turn the offer down as she wanted to be closer to her family. But when she went to go knock on the door, she was told about the move.

She decided that she wasn't going to let her family leave her without anyone whilst they enjoyed Riverdale. So Lani decided to spend her theatre money on a house in Riverdale.

When Lani was younger, her and Veronica loved to bring their canvases and paints to the local cemetery near them, they added their paintings to Nana Lodges grave.

She felt completely destroyed as her own sister left her in the dust as Veronica lived her life. So she was going to rock her world by joining Riverdale High.
