My World

And when the sun shall rise,

So shall my chest as I breathe in your sweet scent.

I turn to my side to find all breath stolen from me.

There lying beside me a sight as radiant as the sun.

Skin as soft as cashmere,

Hair thick, rich and healthy,

Your chest rising and falling with soft breathes as you sleep,

My home.

And as I admire my beautiful world.

Your eyelids flutter like the most delicate of wings.

                                                      

                                                            To reveal a sight that only I will ever see,

                                                                                     Oh no, my dear.

For you have made me breathless once again.

Your eyes a galaxy that I will forever roam,

That leads me straight to the heart that I call home.

Your smile that brings the colour to my blind eyes,

Your laughter that brings music to my deaf ears.

A soft caress from your fingertips,

Is all it takes to make shivers run down my spine.

I love you.

That's all there is to it really,

I love you,

And all I can do is hope that with each passing day

You will understand how much I do.

For we never know what tomorrow may bring,

Nor do I know how I deserve you.

But for now,

You have my undivided attention.

All I care about is how you pull me into your arms,

Your warmth that covers me like a blanket,

But most of all,

The soft sweet caress of your lips on mine,

And a breathy good morning,

Is all I need to know,

That there is no place I would rather be.
