Prince Albert Frederick Arthur George windsor was born at york cottage, unitedkingdom He is the second child and second son of King george V and Queen mary the grandson of King edward VII and Queen Alexandra And the great-grandson of Queen victoria and Prince albert George vi is named after his deceased great-grandfather George has 6siblings with him Edward VIII,Princess mary,Prince henry,Prince George & Prince john

George served in the (royal navy) to [1913 to 1917] The royal naval air service (1917 to 1919) and then attented Trinity college Cambridge [1919 to 1920] on june 2 1920 he was created as duke of york He sponsored the annual duke of yorks camp [1921-1939] at which equal numbers of public private school boys and boys from industrial areas spent a week together as his guests.

On april 26,1923 he married Lady elizabeth Angela margueriete bowes lyon, youngest daughter She is the youngest daughter of the 14th earl of Starthmore and kinghorne. And they became the Duke and duchess of york The couple had two children On april 21 1926 they welcomed their first child Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor and on 21 August 1930 they welcomed their second child Princess Margaret Windsor 

On january 30 1936 George's father King george V passes away aged 70 After his fathers death George's elder brother Edward VIII  took the throne Edward was only King of uk for less than a year Because he condemned his decison to marry American Divorcee wallis simpsin And was a n*zi sympasier  On december 11 1936 Edward officialy abdicated the throne On that date The duke of york george assumed and took the throne Follow the Abdication of his brother Edward VIII he was officialy as king that day. He took the name GEORGE VI and was coronated on may 12 1937.

                            Before the starting of World war II the king affirmed Angelo-french solidatary and formed a close relationship  with us president Franklin d roosevelt but he supported Prime minister neville chamberlains appeasement policy toward germany and italy in may 1940 when the house of commons forced chamberlain to resign the king wished to appoint edward frederick linldey wood to the premiership but was induced to select winston churchill whose wartime leadership
he then supported unreserverdly.

During the war, george became a powerful symbol of courage and fortitude for the British people. Rather than recolate his family to the safety of canada he remained in the united kingdom during the battle of britian. He also visited  his armies on several battle fronts. Moreover. George provided a model of determanation in his well-known struggle to overcome the severe stammer that had afflicted him since childhood. That struggle and george's tremendous will power are captured in the motion picture The King's speech (2010) which depicts his long-term relationship with the unconvetional australian speech therapist lionel logue and climaxes with the kings inspiring live radio address on september 3,1939 as britain  entered world war II

Altough King george has ceased to be emperor of india when india and pakistan became seperate
Indepentened countries.

On November 20 1947 King george vi's eldest child and first daughter princess elizabeth married Prince philip of greece and denmark

Half a year later in November 14 1948 King george became an grandfather for the first time george and his wife queen elizabeth welcomed their first grandchild prince charles philip arthur george The child of their daughter and son in law

In August 15 1950 King george and his wife queen elizabeth welcomed their second grandchild granddaughter Princess anne elizabeth alice louise

In 1951 The king was diognoased with a bronchegonic carcinoma and subsequently underwent a pneumonecty He had a lung operation he had a lung operation to remove an obstruction in the left bronchous which he never fully recovered from Altough he survived the operation. 

At February 6 1952 07:30 GMT at morning he was found dead in bed at sandringham house in norflok he died of a  cardiac arrest. His lung cancer illiness also from an coronary thrombosis in his sleep aged 56🥺😭💔💔

After his death Febraury 15 1952 King george vi's  state funeral was held on St george's chapel The body of King george VI was palaced in a coffin made from oak grown on the sandringham estate. The coffin was laid in st mary magdalene church, sandringham where the king had worshipped while on the estate.
