Chapter 4

During the ride in the suv Morgan and Reid were both filled in on how the team believes the un-sub has been found and that they were on their way right now to catch him.
"How do you know that this is where he will be" Morgan asks.
"His first murder was for revenge and the way the women was murdered showed he clearly enjoyed it so he was most likely to kill again" Hotch claimed.
"Also 5 minutes ago we got a call from a Amanda that a man had broke into her home fitting the description of the profile" Gideon added.
"Did she get out the house?" Reid asked.
"No she is still in the house with her younger sister" JJ said.
"Right when we get there I want Reid and Prentiss to go in the front, Gideon and Morgan you both are to go round the back and me and JJ will wait outside in case he tries to escape through a window. Remember first priority is the two women trapped inside we need to get them out as fast as possible!" Hotch explained.

A few minutes later the team arrived at the house and rushed to their positions. They all broke through the doors and rushed in. Gideon and Morgan found found Amanda in the corner of the living room behind the sofa hiding.
"Amanda we are FBI agents and we are here to help you" Morgan said reaching out his hand to her.
"Do you know where your sister is Amanda?" Gideon asked.
"He dragged her upstairs by her hair screaming" Amanda said shaking.
"Morgan, Spencer and Prentiss have already gone upstairs I need you to go up and find her sister. I will stay here and look after the girl" Gideon ordered.
Morgan didn't say anything he just stood up and headed upstairs gun in hand. He got to the top of the stairs and slowly headed to the first door on his left. He burst open the door pointing his gun around but stopped when he saw Prentiss.
"Jeez Morgan it's me" Prentiss said suprised.
"Amanda said her sister was dragged upstairs he's up here somewhere. Where's Reid?" Morgan asked.
"He went the other way, come on" Prentiss said.

A few minutes before Morgan came upstairs Reid headed towards the door on the far right. He slowly approached it then burst it open before seeing Amanda's sister lying on the floor. He put his gun away and ran to her. Reid placed his fingers on the side of her neck to check her pulse to see if she was alive but she wasn't. There was bruises around her neck to suggest strangulation. He sighed and took his fingers off her neck and stood up. He was about to turn around and leave when two hands grabbed him from behind and flung him against the wall. The un-sub had still been in the same room and grabbed Reid by the neck holding him in place. Reid tried to pry the un-subs hands away from his neck but it wasn't working and he was struggling to breathe. His sight was starting to blur and he was close from blacking out when Morgan and Prentiss burst into the room.
"Get your hands off his neck or we will shoot" Morgan shouts aiming his gun at the un-sub. The man does not move so Morgan shoots the man in his leg forcing him to let go in pain by which Prentiss grabbed his arms and put the behind his back before handcuffing him and calling for an ambulance to the address.
Reid falls to the floor coughing violently. Morgan rushed to his side grabbing him and holding him tight.
"Are you okay babe?" Morgan asks Looking really concerned.
"I'm fine" Reid replied after regaining his breath.
"Are you sure?" Morgan asks again.
Reid grabs the back of Morgan's head and pulls him down before kissing him. "Is that enough reassurance for you" Reid looks at Morgan smiling.
Morgan smiles back.

(10 minutes later)

The un-sub was taken into the hospital in handcuffs and after the bullet wound has healed enough he would be send straight to prison for 15 years to life.

The team thanked to Georgia police then headed straight off and took the plane back to the BAU headquarters. They were halfway through the trip and JJ has noticed Hotch had been on his phone for almost the entire journey .
"Is something wrong Hotch" JJ asks looking at him.
"What do you mean?" Hotch questions.
"You have been on your phone the entire journey I just want to know if everything is alright" JJ replies.
"Yeah I'm fine just busy" Hotch answers smiling back at JJ.
"Okay if you say so" JJ said.

When they arrived back from the trip it was very late and Hotch sent the whole team home to get some sleep before their next shift in the morning.
Morgan has just arrived home when he got a ping from his phone. He opened it to see he has been sent a photo from a unknown number. He opened the photo to see a picture of Reid and another guy sitting on a bench holding hands kissing. Morgan looked at this for a good few seconds before closing his phone and throwing it onto his sofa. He sat down and put his head in his hands. He was incredibly upset but more than that he was angry, very angry. This was not going away!
