Chapter 6

I woke up next to Jack. I leaned forward and looked at him. His eyes are closed and he is snoring softly. I smile a little to myself, admiring how adorable my boyfriend is. I get out of bed, trying to be as quiet as I can. I make my way to the kitchen. I grab the cereal box that is on top of the fridge and I grab a bowl and some milk. I pour the milk before I pour my cereal.
"you pour the milk first? Ew." A familiar voice says behind me. I turn around.
"Victoria!!" I scream, regretting it soon after realizing that Jack was sleeping just a room over. She smiles and pulls me into a hug. "Be careful!" I say, being cautious about the baby.
"Why?" Tori asks.
I pat my stomach and giggle. "I'm having a baby with Jack."
"Wow." She says, shocked. "I'm... Pregnant too!"
"Really? With Kian!"
"Of course! What do you think?!" I laugh.
"What's going on... Oh hi Victoria! Didn't think you would be here until tomorrow!"
I turn around and see Jack in his robe with his hair extremely messed up.
"You knew about this!" I laugh.
"Of course baby!" He wraps my arms around my waist and pulls me closer and places a quick peck on my lip.
"Oh and I'm not the only one here.." Victoria smirks as Kian walks through the door.
"Bro!!" Jack high fives Kian.
"So, what do you want to do today?" I ask everybody.
"How about... The mall?" Kian asks.
We all agreed.
"Jack and I have to get dressed though." I say as I grab his arm and start pulling him to our bedroom.
"Don't get distracted!" Tori yells. I giggle just before the door closes and Jack pulls me close to him and roughly kisses me. I pull away and laugh.
"Didn't you hear Tori?"
He sighs. "Sadly."
"Let's get dressed, Jack. I need maternity clothes before it's too late." We get dressed and meet Kian and Tori out in the living room.
"Ready?" I nod and we walk to the car outside.
-at the mall-
"Where do you think we should go first?"
Jack looks at the map and points at the baby store called, "Baby Steps"
"Maybe there?"
I nod and so does Tori.
"I am going to get fatter soon." I laugh.
"Fat or not, you will still be beautiful." Jack squeezes my hand.
We walk to the store, which is across the mall, so we stop in stores along the way.
Tori and I finally make it to Baby Steps. Kian and Jack didn't make it, because they saw a shoe store, screamed like little girls and ran inside.
We walk inside. Little onsies and small outfits are everywhere and little kids music is playing. We head to the toy section and we grab a ton of toys.
"Hey Shelby?"
"Yeah?" I answer.
"Are you scared? You know, about being pregnant?"
"Are you kidding? Hell yeah. Every time I see Jack, I see him leaving me. Leaving me with this baby with no where to go. I guess I could go to Brent but what the hell could my brother do for a pregnant sister. I not scared. I'm terrified.." I shake. Tori hugs me.
"Can I tell you something?" I notice a tear forming in her eye.
"Of course."
"Kian is cheating on me. I know he is. I don't know what to do. I can't leave him! I would be pregnant and alone. I just... Can't" she breaks down. I quickly pull her out of the store and out of the mall.
We don't talk and I just comfort her.
"How do you know?" I ask her once she calms down.
"I answered the home phone late at night last week and this fucking whore asked if Kian was going to make her... cum that night. I didn't know what to do so I hung up and cried in my room for hours. Kian slept on the couch that night.."
I don't know what to tell her.
