Bella

The accident would have stayed small.. If i wasn't so clumsy and stupid. The van was coming so fast, i just thought if I moved just a bit it wouldn't be so bad or i would have been saved by my own doing. No, what happened was my leg got crushed between my tire and the vans, the scorching fire and pain going through my leg up my side was almost unbearable but the adrenaline was my savior and quickly kicked in. But before my face could be crushed and i could be saved from embarrassment by Death, Edward suddenly was right there to take the blow to the back, his one hand cupping the back of my head so it wouldn't slam into my truck. His eyes would not lay on my face instead they stared down, down at the blood that slowly leaked towards his hand that keep him stable on the ground. Before it could touch his hand he was quick to move it, it was inhumanly fast. Really the least of my worries right now, but how could I not notice. The hand that he moved went behind him and easily and without any problem pushed the van away from my leg. At least now i wasn't wedged between my tire and the other.

"Bella..." Edward said, it was strained and tight. Almost like he was mad at me!
"You are bleeding.." he stated the obvious.

"Yeah.." I said, feeling my head become dizzy, my jaw went tight "I can tell-"

Suddenly we were surrounded by what felt like the whole school, I closed my eyes and wished that once I opened them this wouldn't be real and that it was another horrible and embarrassing Nightmare but once I opened them, more people surrounded us! Just my luck, new girl, now hurt and the Damsel in Distress.

"Bella im calling 911!" A girl who was in my financial literacy class said panicked.

Mike was trying to get through to see me as well. He looked horrified. Oh god was it that bad?

Edward was still holding my head but would not move, it was like he was a statue, I cant even hear him breathing. Did the van knock the wind out of him? Breath Edward Breath!

Tyler leaned out his window, a cut gushing blood just above his eyebrow. He looked at me then down at my leg that I didn't dare to look at. "Bella- oh my god! I am so sorry! I tried to stop!"

I thought I had said no its okay but my lips didn't even move. And suddenly the corners of my eyes went blurry and dark as the sounds of sirens waled in the distance. The last thing I saw was the dark, cold and uninviting eyes of Edward Cullen. Then.. There was nothing.

Edward

The Fiery hunger that Crawled up my throat was something new. It was worse than ever. I wanted to lick up the blood and savior it for myself. But with some power, of a little bit of Sanity i didn't. I held Bella. God if I was Faster! If I would have went over to talk to her this wouldn't be happening. She would have been okay, her leg wouldn't be producing so much blood and there wouldn't be an audience to watch what I just did, hopefully no one noticed how fast I was. Finally I mustered up the courage to look at Bella, but to my horror the girls already pale face turned into snow and her eyes rolled back before they closed
"Bella!" I suddenly yelled, she went limp in my hands. Thank god, judas, or whatever mythical being in the sky allowed me to still hear that faint heartbeat. I didn't think, which I seem to be doing a lot, and picked her up bridal style.

"Edward, are you okay? You also got hit by the van!" A girl with brown eyes and blackish blue hair said to me, her phone clutched tight in her hand. This girl I knew well, her name was paige and she shared history with me. She was a quiet girl and kept to herself, so my worries of her telling everyone was very low.
He is like a super human! What the hell? How did he even get there?! Is he okay- that's a lot of blood oh my god
Her thoughts went fast. She was just as shocked as everyone else. "Im fine. Just please make a path" I tried my hardest to sound calm. Luckily she was quick to nod and move to the side, the other students moved as well. The ambulance came fast. One of the nice things about living in a small town, things were fast and close by. That means they can get her to the hospital faster, good.
