Versilissa had noticed the faraway and sad look in her eyes.She would have ignored it but most of her teachers had complained about her lack of concentration.Versilissa knew of her daughter's academic capabilities and she was proud of it.She knew her daughter had a bright future.Her daughter would bring great change in their world as they know it.Her only hope was that she guided her correctly.

She had a nagging feeling that her daughter was hiding something from her but she trusted her and hoped that she would tell her once she was ready.She then went back on to do her work.

It had been two days since Xephania had witnessed the murder of that boy.In a matter of moments,all that she had believed in had crushed on h face.She was now staring at things twice trying to read between the lines or lies ...she was not sure anymore.

She was angry.Angry that all she knew was crumbling down .Angry at all the secrets that were unfolding before her eyes.Angry that she was the one that had witnessed that.Her image of Ecuador was now completely tarnished.

Savannah watched her once best friend walk in the hallways.She saw the torment in her eyes.She knew it would be stupid to go and ask her what's wrong.They had fallen apart and she was mostly the cause of it.All the pressure she had made her too busy for her and she would normally avoid her.All she wished to do was to go and hug her and tell her she was not alone.

Their eyes met briefly and Savannah told her all she had with the look in her eyes.Xeph tried to communicate to her that she was okay.However Ava saw  how fake her smile was.All she could do was wait for the trouble to brew.
