Ayaka: Phew, not that that's settled. First things first...
Ayaka went over to the outdoor tea-table, and sat on one of the seats. She took the book that was settled on the table, and continued reading it.
Xingqiu: Mind if I join you?
Ayaka: Not at all!
Xingqiu took the seat adjacent to her, polishing his blade before sheathing it back.
Xingqiu: Is that a book from the library?
Ayaka: Oh, no. I brought this book in here with me myself. It's Inazuma's best seller and most recommended book across the whole nation!
Xingqiu: Hehhh... what's it called?
Ayaka: The Legend of Sword!
Xingqiu: Wh
Xingqiu: I see... So, what's so good about this book?
Ayaka: The progression of the plot is amazing, but what I love most is how the writer includes poetic verses and rhymes in the text! It really adds an eye-catching and beautiful touch to the story as a whole!
Xingqiu: That's nice to know, which volume are you reading?
Ayaka: Oh, I'm on Volume four right now! It's when- Ah, I'd rather not spoil it for you. I can give you the first three volumes if you're interested!
Xingqiu: Its quite alright, I can just buy them from the Wanwen Bookhouse later. (Not like I'm gonna.)
Ayaka: I see.. Well, i hope you'll enjoy the story!
Xingqiu: I think I will. We can continue this some other day, but for now, i think I'll go grab something to eat.
Ayaka: Wait!
Xingqiu: Hm?
Ayaka: Since you're from Liyue.. Do you possibly.. know the author of this book...?
Xingqiu: ...
Xingqiu: Not a clue. Why so?
Ayaka: No, I was just thinking if it's possible to show my appreciation for the author. And to thank them for making such a good book.
Xingqiu: You already have.
Ayaka: Huh?
Xingqiu: I mean- Just being able to enjoy it is enough for the author, I suppose.
Ayaka: ... I guess you're right!
Ayaka went back to reading the book, donning a smile on her face as she savours every bit of the story.
Xingqiu: Well then I'll be off, be sure to enjoy my story!~
