I looked up and down for my best friend in the lunch hall but I couldn't find her anywhere.
"Where the fuck is she?"
Then all of a sudden she jumped up behind me and yelled:
L: "BOO!"
I'm pretty sure my soul left my body for a few seconds.
"Jesus, Lila you scared me!"
Me and Lila have been best friends for 5 years. We first met in a lunch hall a few years back, she was sitting by herself and I noticed and I didn't have anyone to sit with either. I went to sit with her and we clicked almost immediately. And ever since then we've been the best of friends.
L: "sorry! I thought it would be funny to sneak up on you today"
"well, it sure wasn't funny, I shit myself!"
She laughed and eventually she had me laughing too.
L: "So anyways, what's going on with you y/n?"
I gave her the biggest grin when I remembered my encounter with Finn this morning.
"you will NEVER guess who I bumped into this morning!"
L: "SPILL NOW!"
I laughed and explained everything that happened this morning, and trust me she was shocked.
L" Your so lucky! I wanna have that but with Noah Schnapp obviously"
I laughed at her. She's literally had the biggest crush on Noah for like 4 years now.
Then my phone pinged:
Instagram: finnwolfhardofficial: hey! I noticed your such a big fan of stranger things and me and the cast are having a sleepover tonight, want to come?
I thought I was going to faint. I squealed with excitement and Lila gave me such a weird look.
L: "Uh, why are you screaming?"
"IVE JUST BEEN INVITED TO A SLEEPOVER WITH THE STRANGER THINGS CAST BY FINN!!"
Lila's hand was over her mouth so fast it practically teleported. She was just as shocked as me.
L: "Please tell me your going to this?"
I gave her a look as if she was stupid.
"Do you think I'm an idiot? OBVIOUSLY!"
We both squealed again and i'm pretty sure the entire lunch hall was staring at us, but I didn't care. I just got invited to hang out with the stranger things cast!
