Musical Competition

Not Nice...

                                                                                   Katsume POV

As everyone gathers in the auditorium for the first annual, musical competition or as I like to call it, battle of the vocals, Ms. Uratamei steps up on stage to welcome everybody and blah blah blah. Five minutes later, after everyone is here and seated, the fun begins...

"For the first song of the day, we have Katsume Okumura, preforming Not Nice. Originally, HalaCG." Uratamei steps off stage and I come up, blue flames surrounding me but not burning the wood floor beneath me. I get into the mood as the beat starts.

"Oh, I've heard it all too many times,I know the rules and regulations the punishment for temptationI see through all of your lies, you knew I was weaker,Act like a sheep but, I see that I'm justsick of you.Living a fragile truth.How you would make me hate myself, cause what elseWas there to do? ...  OhYou better listen close.... You won'tIgnore my voice this time.Don't forget it I won't let it slip your mind.." 

Flames grow larger in size at the far corners of the stage while lights get darker.

"I'm not a nice person! I was alone. Everything got worse and I fixed it on my own, you never knew me...Oh Ah Ohhhh,  So raise the stained curtain, I'll start the show crushing all the liars, all disguised as damn heroes. And I'll let them bleed...." 

The crowd cheers softly. At least that's how it sounds while I'm practically screaming some of the lyrics.

"I wonder if you knew what you said hurtIf you thought it was all harmless, you wouldn't have cared regardlessI suppose it's not my concern,Hell's gates let through the guiltyYou'll see them, and you won't kill meThey said 'stupid kid, stay on the ground! Guess there's not enough, dumb luck to go around!' Oh, I tried to be good, I did,It's this world we're in.Everyone hides something.... You better listen close... (Listen close) You won't Ignore my voice this time." 

A small smirk appears on my face.

"Don't forget it I won't let it slip your mind! I'm not a nice person! I was alone.Everything got worse andI fixed it on my own! You never knew me. Ohhh Ahh Ohhh.. So raise the stained curtain,I'll start the show! Crushing all the liars, all disguised as damn heroes.And I'll let them bleed...Oh Ohh Ah Ohhh." 

The room goes dark, flames vanishing in an instant. One light appears on me. 

"So what you gonna do about it,I never feel guilty.You say I was the kindest don't ever hold it to me.All I am is crazy, baby.You've been trying to save me, go on wave a flag, do ya think I'd stay away?Lighting gas this punch bag knows your ways and I won't turn my face, turn my face, when I say.When I say.. 'I'm not a nice person,I was alone.' No one'll touch me sitting on my throne.And I'll be burning, no one'll come close.I'll trade my dirt for diamonds,Oh I'll show them,I'm not a nice person.You'll see it in my frown, was never at the top,And yet I'm here to wear the crown.OooohI'd hate to cut you down, but you've taught me, that I can't afford to be,A nice person....." 

The crowd cheers harder, they think this was amazing, I can tell

 "I'm not a nice person! I was alone.Everything got worse andI fixed it on my own, you never knew me.So raise the stained curtain! I'll start the show, crushing all the liars, allDisguised as damn heroes.  And I'll let them bleed..."

The beat gradually comes to an end. As I receive a round of applause, I bow. 

"Alright! I hope you enjoyed Katsume's awesome performance! Next up is Saiko Hiraibayashi with Always December, originally Citizen Soldier..." Uratamei announces just below the stage.
