Your heart skipped a beat at the look in his eyes. He didn't recognize you. You tried your best to keep the panicked feeling that was rising in your chest from showing, forcing a small smile on your face.

"Hey, it's me. (Y/N)" you said softly, trying to keep your voice steady. Jungkook stared at you for a moment, his eyes still wary. "I... Don't remember you" he said, his voice confused and uncertain. Your heart sank at his words and you felt a pang of fear and uncertainty.

You stood there frozen, your heart aching at his words. He didn't remember you. How could he not remember you? You had been together for so long, you had been through so much together. It was as though a part of your life had been erased from his mind.
