Humpty Dumpty was broken beyond repair,
Humpty Dumpty was left there to despair.
All the king's horses and all the king's men,
Couldn't be bothered to put him together again.
Left alone, Humpty Dumpty began to think,
Will I really be left here to shrink?
Thus, he called the animals and all,
To put him back together; watch out, don't fall!
He thought and he thought, for ways of revenge,
Humpty Dumpty would definitely avenge.
If the king thought it was a done deal,
Surely he should have known it was surreal!
When the sun set, Humpty Dumpty began to walk,
If you saw him, you'd know he wasn't all talk.
Over the hills, over the mountain,
Taking only a stop at a small fountain.
The king began to whimper in fear,
Humpty Dumpty was coming tonight, my dear.
