Weekend with the Kims (Part 2 of 2) (MonSsong)

Monday felt like yesterday was a dream. It wouldn't be the first time she had dreamt about Soeun. Actually most nights consisted of dreaming about all the possible scenarios that could ever occur between the 2 of them. But somehow she still couldn't get herself to believe what she saw when she woke up that Saturday morning...

Soeun was still asleep, she was laying on her side, hands still slightly wrapped around Monday's waist. Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed and Monday wondered if she was having a bad dream. Monday stretched her hand over to caress the face of the girl next to her. Soeun visibly relaxed at the action and Monday couldn't help the small proud smile that formed on her lips. She removed her hands from Soeuns face but she could still feel the sensation of her skin against her fingertips. She carefully removed herself from Soeuns embrace and made her way to the bathroom then after exciting to go into the kitchen.

"I'm guessing that smile across your face is because you sleep well." Monday's mom said with a slight smirk on her face.

"MOM!!! What if she hears you!!!!!"

"So you aren't denying it? That means I am correct."

"Can we please stop talking about this. I don't like Soeun that way... we're just friends." Monday said the last part like a whisper. Her mother noticed this and decided it's best not to tease her daughter more, instead she just gave her a sympathetic smile and gently patted her back.

"Why does everyone look so down?" Mondays father asked as he walked into the kitchen carrying a picnic basket with him. He placed it on the table while her mother packed a few things inside both earning a confused look from Monday.

"What is that for?"

"For you and your friend." Monday's father said nonchalantly which cause Monday mother to elaborate further.

"Since she came all the way with you we thought it be nice for you to take her for a picnic. The weather is good today so the park might be too full so your father set up the rooftop you the two of you. It's late morning already so when she wakes up you can take her there."

Monday didn't know what to say at her parents plan. She thought, "A picnic alone with Soeun sounds like a dream but... there is a high possibly she could just end up embarrassing herself or say something stupid (which happens most of the time when they are alone) or even worse make it awkward especially since maybe three weeks ago her feelings for Soeun have been all over the place... Wait?? No!!! What are you thinking Jimin she is your friend!!"

"Earth to Jimin?" Her father said while waving his hand in front of his daughter. "You zoned out while we were speaking."

"Hmm oh sorry."

"It's okay. But as your father just said we prepared all the food for you girls, we already ate breakfast and we are leaving now to go help your aunt prepared the new house she moved into so at least you girls will have the house to yourself since your little sister is only coming back from her camp on Wednesday. We'll be back around 6 tonight." Her mother explained and greeted as they made their way to leave. After they left Monday just stood by the table packaging the remaining food into the basket.

"Good morning..." Monday's heart jumped out of her body when Soeun suddenly came in and back hugged her.

"I-l umm..."

"Where's your parents?" Monday turned around to face Soeun. She's stunning. Her hair is still slightly messy and she's wearing one of Monday's hoodies that she probably took out of her closet. Monday stood their like an idiot just staring at her.

"What's this for?" Soeun looked questionably at the picnic basket on the kitchen table snapping Monday out of her trance.

"Oh it's for us... umm... my parents went out and uhh they kinda set up a picnic for us on the rooftop... sooo..."
