"Hey uh... what's up?" I heard Midoriya's voice echo throughout the room.
I felt butterflies swirl around in my stomach. I've never called Midoriya before, it was usually the other way around so I wasn't sure how to carry on this conversation.
"Nothing I was just... bored."
"Cool."
God, I'm doing terrible.
"Anyways I was thinking the two of us could go somewhere sometime. You know like to get ice cream or something?"
"Is this a joke?" he asked, "Did Mina dare you or something?"
"No, I want to try something new and you're the closest thing I have to something new. So take me out somewhere."
It was more of an order than a question but even if it was a question I wouldn't take no for an answer.
"I'm still convinced this is a joke but yes ma'am. Will you be free by o'clock next Wednesday?"
I nodded even though he couldn't see me, "Mhm."
"Great! I have to get going, Kota and Bakugo are fighting over spilt juice and Shoto isn't doing much to help. See you later?"
"Yeah, see you later."
I hung up and exhaled while falling back on my bed.
