(Lucas pov)
I dragged him in to my room and locked the door just to make sure my dad didn't walk in. "Im tired im going to bed good night" i got in to bed. I haven't gotten a good night sleep in months because my childhood but i feel safe around him i don't know why. Maybe because we both had shity dad's. I remember when i first met him we were both in the hospital me because of my dad getting drunk and beating the shit out of me and him because his dad kept him up for months and only let him eat twice a week as a punishment because he didn't do what he was told to do or some bull shit like that. We shared a room and got to talk about video games and other stuff and then are mom's came and picked us up. His mom lived in a different town so he gave me his number and we started talking and on his 18th birthday we started dating. After i moved in with him i still hardly slept because at this point it was a habit and i was used to not sleeping so it was whatever. I do remember nights when he would have nightmares and i would just lay in bed on my phone and held him. I woke up about 4 am i couldn't sit up because something was holding me down. "Hey love bug let me go" i started to pull his arms of my torso "no i haven't gotten to hold you in three years so lay back down" i layed back down and wrapped my arms around him and fell back asleep
