This story is based on an escape room I did with Exriee and my other friend Hannah.
All of the discoveries here are (mostly) real and were what happened in the actual escape room. Any doors opening or locks being unlocked or anything else that is escape-room related actually happened. The house in the escape room was called Derwent Manor, the person who inherited it was calles Clarissa, and our guide was called Matthew, who gave us clues and helped us. These are also included in the story. All of the equipment mentioned is real and was used in the escape room, apart from the infared cameras. Any new rooms discovered are real, as well as lighting changes and objects falling. If you want to know what is real and what isn't, and about the escape room itself, then comment!
The place we went to is called Deliverance Escape Rooms in Lincoln, England. If you want you can have a look on their website! If anyone lives in the Lincolnshire county in England, then it's a really fun day out!
I made an OC one day. I looked at her, and realise there was a backstory behind her.
Then BOOM lightbulb moment and this story was born.
