Y/N POV:

The warmth of the morning weather embraces and nuzzles the kids playing and wandering around. One of the most incredible views is, cute smiles plastered over their faces. The atmosphere is just as always busy and bustling.

You and your friend decide to go out and grab some coffee, for messy brains. At least the day where you could place my brain away from the hell of assignments.

Doesn't everyone in life at some point think that they need a genie? That could finish all of our assignments.

You halt in your steps as you eye the long way ahead of you.

"Wait" you call your friend. She walks out of her mind completely forgetting about the human beside her. Even though sometimes you consider her as some weird creature.

Probably dreaming about some guy in new k-dramas

"Ayo, are u going straight  to take a flight to Korea?" You yell and then she turns around searching for you.

"What are you doing there?" She asks you as she did not hear a single thing. You are sure she did not.

Talking to ants on the road

"There is a short way here, let's go" You walk to the small alley opposite you. She follows you as she finds you signalling her the way.

Fishing out a bar of chocolate in your pocket, you grin like you won the world. You open the wrapper so carefully but the faint sounds are enough for your friend to catch you.

You hold it firmly to take an appetizing bite but end up filling with air. You huff out, you surely know who did it and it is, of course, your friend, Junie.

But she takes the bite before you and champ on it wanted. You flash a sly grin tittering over her reaction and open spare chocolate from your pocket.

Now you roll off whole chocolate in your mouth and relishes the devouring savor dancing in your mouth. She pouts which make her look so cute in her red hair. She mashes the wrapper and throws it away into a bin nearby us.

You both walk down to the alley avoiding the chaotic roads and sounds. Entering the narrow place you clutch your friend's arm as she moves in front. You follow carefully not to step on sticky damp trash with slow steps.

"I don't know why people leave trash here, as human one should understand other problems and can't-" You blabber whatever rolls off your mouth thinking of yourself as some old long beard philosopher.

Junie interrupts your words " Yeah I understand and contemplate. Like sometimes...."

"Sometimes?"

"Like I wonder why a cow has four legs, no arms" She drags out her words slowly spacing out in her own thoughts.

" I too wonder about a thing" You imitate her action dragging your words slowly. She tilts her head and watches you curiously.

"About what?"

" Like I wonder where your brain lost" You chirps out to which she nods before getting a hit by a ball of realisation, very rough batting almost.

She sends you a death glare and geez, you wheeze.

Finally a sixer.

The dark walls gave out a gloomy look concealing the alley. It is completely different from where you started. You find drenched rotting trash reeking with the mild musty smell which makes you puke at any movement.
Strangled windows bruised and covered with grime. Now you are honestly regretting your choice to go this way.
