Just for the sake of creative freedom, this story does not properly follow the actual f1 schedule
Also I will be adding a timeline to the beginning of each part so you know how long Amy has been in Monaco, as per the request of a reader. Thanks for the idea!!

October 2021 - 4 months in Monaco"Thank you again for letting my sisters fam stay with you" Daniel said to me as we took the elevator back up to our floor. I had gone grocery shopping with him since we both would need extra rations in our apartments for Dan's family. He also knew better than I would what they like to eat, especially his niece and nephew.
"Thanks for paying for my groceries" I laughed and winked at him. He had insisted on paying since most of it was for his family anyway, although I did need to get some things for myself. All together, we both hard armloads of bags of food. I'd be surprised if we get through even half of the stuff but I guess it's better to have too much than too little.
"Hey don't mention it, you're the one hosting my sister and her kids. Which reminds me, we still have to get some more stuff after we put all this away" Daniel said as we stepped out of the elevator and walked toward our respective apartments.
"What? What other stuff? We have enough food to feed a small army already" I held up the bags in my arms as proof.
He chuckled "no we're good on food but I usually have extra toothbrushes and stuff like that in case they forget something. And I assume your guest bedroom is still empty?" He looked at me raising his eyebrows and laughed as I made an "o" with my mouth, mentally facepalming for forgetting all about that. Kinda hard to have guests when you don't even have a bed in your guest bedroom.
"My bad" I laughed. Daniel just nodded knowingly and smiled at me.
"Just come over to mine when you're done yeah?" He asked and I nodded before going into my apartment.
I had never actually been over to Dan's. He would just always come here and it had never really crossed my mind until now that I had no idea what his apartment was like. As I put all the groceries away I started to wonder if he was a messy person or if it barely looked lived in, knowing he was away for work a lot.
I finished putting everything away and grabbed my phone off the counter. I walked across the hall and stopped at the door, not knowing if I should knock or not. He would just let himself into my place if he knew I was home but I somehow didn't feel right for me to do that so I knocked.
"Just a sec!" I heard a muffled shout from somewhere in the apartment. Good thing I didn't just walk in I guess. A minute later Dan opened the door, looking slightly haggard and out of breath.
"You ok?" I giggled at his appearance."Yeah all good. Forgot to clean up a bit" he laughed shyly, ruffling his hair with his hand. "Also you've never been over here so I wanted to make a good first impression" he stood up a little straighter now and smiled proudly.
I just smiled and shook my head at him as he let me in. It was... normal? It looked just like mine, only a mirrored layout. The furniture was different and he had some racing memorabilia laying around. But it wasn't overly decorated and it still looked lived in. "Looks just like my place... and surprisingly cleaner than I thought it would be" I laughed at him.
"Yeah they all have the same layout in this building. And uhh yeah just don't open that closet or you'll ruin the impression" he pointed at a coat closet behind me. I'm assuming he just shoved everything in there, random clothes and whatever else he had laying around.
I laughed very loudly, visibly comforting Dan who seemed a little nervous for some reason. "So I made a list of what we need to get and where. It's a lot so we'll be out for a while. Did you have dinner plans?" He asked as we walked over to his balcony where he already had his laptop sitting open on the coffee table. I sat down next to him on the little sofa, enjoying the warm breeze for a minute. With his apartment being on the other side of the building, he had the most gorgeous view of the coastline with a nice salty breeze.
