[september 8th 2020]
it was 10 am and sage was finishing packing her bag. she knew she was staying for three days. neha and mina were both in a facetime call on her laptop.
"bring that pink dress you got from beginning boutique" mina says.
"oh yes! that dress makes your body look so good" neha agrees.
sage walked to her closet and grabbed the pink dress that sat at the bottom in a pile of other clothes.
"ok i think i'm all packed" she said tucking her hair behind her ears and looking down at her suitcase.
"i cant believe you're going to LA!" mina says.
"i know i wish i could bring you guys" sage says closing her suitcase, "i have to go drive to the airport in 20 minutes, my flights at 11"
"ok we'll text us all throughout your day and if you need us call us!" neha says.
they say their goodbyes and sage brings her suitcase down to the foyer.
she goes back upstairs and knocks on her moms door.
"come in babe" her mom shouts from the other side of the door.
sage opens it and walks in.
"i have to leave but i'll only be a couple days and if you need me please call me" she says hugging her mom.
"don't worry sweetheart i'll be ok! you go enjoy your time with your new friends!" she says rubbing sages head.
"i love you mama" sage gives her one last tight hug.
"have a safe flight my angel!" her mom shouts as she leaves the room.
she grabs her suitcase and walks it to her uber that just arrived.
she puts it in the trunk and gets into the back seat.
"where to ma'am?" the driver asks.
"the airport please" sage says smiling at the man.
he begins driving and sage goes on her phone. she looks through tik tok and sees vinnie hacker on her fyp.
she wasn't going to lie, he was very attractive.
"we're here!" the man announces getting out and grabbing her suitcase.
"thank you so much" she says grabbing it from him. she payed ahead of time but she passed him a $10 bill.
"have a nice flight" the man says before getting back into the car.
sage gets a coffee before boarding her plane, then sits down at her seat.
the plane takes off and sage falls asleep.
"attention passengers, we are nearing your stop, please make sure your seat belts are on, all food is put away and your trays are up. thank you for boarding and i hope you enjoy your time in sunny los angeles"
