I haven't spoken to ruby ever since I went on vacation with my mom during summer and I am so excited to see my baby. Sophomore year starts tomorrow and I can't wait to start the new year. i've never stayed in one city this long. i'm usually in another state trying to make new friends all over again but i am so thankful that my mom decided to stay this year is going to be the best one yet.
"Hey baby, you ready for sophomore year tomorrow?" my mother said coming into my room.
"yeah! im really excited to see everyone again." I said. "well you get some sleep honey tomorrow will be here before you know it."
next day
i walk into school looking for ruby and my friends. "rachel?" i heard someone say from behind me. this voice didn't belong to any of my friends but it was definitely familiar. i turned around and the voice belonged to who i thought i would never see again. "oliver?"
