Y/n's POV:

The second I threw coffee over that ex of mine, I knew Uni life wasn't exactly going to go the way I planned. Life was back at playing games with me, and what a bomb she threw by bringing back Jeon Jungkook into my life; who had the highest chance of becoming my next arch nemesis. Murmurs are going to follow me everywhere now, and this was something I brought upon myself. As much as I praised myself for putting Jeon Jungkook in his spot, I also saw my golden days of leading a peaceful uni life fading away

Blair Rudolph was the talk of the university now. That was evident by the little pack of rich blooded wannabes who kept on chasing me, even stepping into my private space just to get a picture with 'tHe HeIr Of RiVeLlA', until Jeon Soyeon spat 'fuck off' on their faces. Then there was a bunch of seniors who most probably ridiculed Jungkook, approached me with a proposal of having an interview with them, which would be posted on the uni wall. All in all - they wanted tea, and I wasn't going to tire myself with something that would only cause more drama. So I politely declined the offer, after all I was here for a degree, not to entertain gossip thirsty young adults. And at last but not least- Becky and her little army of dwarfs. I remember seeing them approach me almost as if they were some warriors going off to war, but the moment they saw that they were literally half my size, they scooted off leaving Becky helpless in front of me, who was ultimately dragged out of the cafeteria by Somi

And there I was in the middle of the cafeteria, sitting alongside the squad and Somi who knew about the whole scenario by now, the same that happened earlier that morning. Jackson was no longer interested in easy murdering Jungkook, but was rather intrigued with torturing him to his death. Basically searching about the human history, he was telling stories about the worst human torturing machine ever built- the bull, and how he'd take his chances to stuff that guy into the same. While on the other side Momo was
having a rather deep talk with Jhope and Namjoon on the conference, about how people change under bad influence- she was basically referring to Jungkook and his three homies who in turn were now the bad influence on him. But I believed that our brain was our own, and none can brainwash it until we allow them to. Jungkook's ridiculous change in behavior was brought upon him by his own wrong choices. Now that is my my personal theory. My phone was going off with notifications from Taehyung who was giving death threats to Jungkook and apologizing for failing to bring me the pepperoni he promised at the same time. Then there was Somi screaming into her phone just like the morning prior to the incident; this time it was her dad, and her howling was just louder. And at last but not least there was Soyeon telling all the people off whoever tried to gather around, preventing me from peacefully having my day meal. I owe that to Soyeon, at least I got a chance to peacefully stuff my face with muffins and banana milk

"Guys?" Now I had the whole squad's attention who all looked at me with doe eyes. I internally chuckled because I thought all of them looked really cute while looking at me like that. I was grateful, really grateful, that I had people by my side who actually gave value to friendship and human bonds, and that was evident in whatever they had done in the past and were doing for me in the present. Even Somi herself decided not to side with her own brother, but rather decided to stick by me- justifying genuine relationships are thicker than one's own blood

"Do you like barbecue?"
Now I already had plans to treat them to some barbecue, they helped me great sum the other day. Moving all those cartons and mannequins wasn't child's play, so I gotta make it up to them. And what could be better than free food? At least that's what I thought
