Sorry But Not Sorry

Do I say it was my fault

Or your fault?

Your eyes and looks deceived me

Making me think that you were better

Than my grandmother's son.

Oh how I was a fool back then

Living according to your rules

And putting up with all the beatings

Now I've grown up mentally

I picked up my golden crown

And put it up high

I made sure it shone bright
Even in the darkest night
The day you laid your hand on me
Was the day you made me stronger

Today I'm standing in front of the judge
Because last night I stopped you
From breaking my bones and soul
Sorry I had to take your life
You left me no choice brother
Atleast I got the justice we deserved
After so many years of pain.

I have been sentenced for murder
All I did was to protect myself
I am sorry again but you made me.
