Unesu was only 19. A bright first year university student with dreams as bold as her voice, and a passion for justice that lit up every room she entered. But one ordinary afternoon, on a routine trip to the post office, she vanished, leaving behind silence, questions, and a nation outraged. Set in the heart of Cape Town, Am I Next? is a gripping and haunting account of a young woman's brutal fate at the hands of a man shaped by violence and shame. As her friends and family launch a desperate search, the country watches, and the cry for justice grows louder. In a society reeling with the epidemic of gender based violence, this novel is not just a story- it is a mirror. it is a plea. It is a movement. Will justice prevail, or will Unesu become another forgotten name in a long line of lost daughters?

Do you know what it's like to lose control? To spend every single day being pushed to the ground. Losing all hope of getting back up. Feeling broken and different. Feeling weak and unloved. Having so much to say but no voice. I no longer feel things. Looking in the mirror and hating what I see and I'm scared. Getting used to all the pain. The awful memories going through my mind over and over again. I'm not perfect, I'm as damaged and broken as the rest of the world and that's me. Until he comes along.

Not all fairy tales have a happy ending, and not all smiles reflect joy. Uchungu is the epitome of beauty,a rare goddess who graces the earth with an enchanting smile. But behind her captivating exterior lies a story of unimaginable pain, rejection, and survival. From the moment she was born, life seemed determined to break her. Rejected at birth, orphaned young, abused in childhood, and a victim of rape, Uchungu's journey is one of heartbreak and resilience. As an adult, the world sees her as a "victor" who overcame her past to build a life of grace and success. But behind closed doors, Uchungu's battles continue. Married to a man who was once her refuge, she becomes a silent victim of gender based violence (GBV). What happened to the love she thought would heal her? How did her life, filled with so much promise, become defined by pain? Uchungu: The Pain That Knows No Bounds is not just a story, but a mirror reflecting the untold realities of life. It's about the strength it takes to endure, the courage to survive, and the silent battles fought by women who wear their scars behind smiles.

#bornperfect Like I stated on my previous status, I had such a bad experience last evening consernig a lady friend of mine, She claimed her boy friend beat her for nor reason. I went to visit her and the issue was serious. A damn serious beating enough to file a police case. I tried telling her to dump the dude but she claimed love requires patience and she has faith that he will be a better person soon when I tried to convince her to report the guy, she yelled at me claiming I should mind my own business and leave the issue as it is. I decided to risk loosing a friendship but ensure her safety so I took some measures thus the matter is being solved as we speak. But I can't help but feel guilty, Coz I believe many of our friends and loved ones are facing the same issues. I have therefore decided to focus my attention on Domestic violence this entire month and help create awareness on the same and maybe we could help a few souls. I am calling this project 'BORN PERFECT' and we will be sharing DV messages every Monday, Tuesday and Fridays . To participate kindly dm your pictures for a poster before the message day . Our #tags will be #bornperfect, #leteipingdomesticviolence and #teipastales #LeteipatheKing #Leteipa #VampK254Music #VampK254 #VampK #Vamp #Teipa #TeipasLomon #TeipasLyrics #TeipasSingolio #TeipasTales #KenyanMusic #254Flow #SwahiliFlavour

This is not a book but a collection of poems I write everytime I feel something. My poetry is free style so it does not have a rhythm yet carries a lot of emotion. Every page will have its category meaning, it will not be chronological but is will be about what I wrote on that particular day . we will have a Q/A after every five chapters so you can ask questions or share things that made you relate to any poem.#poetry#freestyle
