Chapter 1- Where it all began

Vinnie's POV:

It was 2pm, i was asleep on the couch til' the front door slammed closed. There in front of the door stood my dad and four other men.

"Son, come here, now." I heard my dad say.

"Why?"

"Come. Now" he repeated in a more demanding tone

He looked pissed, so I followed him, not wanting to make him more upset.

What is going on?

We went all the way up the stairs towards the door that had access to the attic. He opened the door letting the stairs fall down.

"Go on" He said. Still sounding a little pissed.

I went up and say something... someone... Are they? Why are they chained up?

She looked up at me.

She's gorgeous

"Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes" She said.

I rolled my eyes. She spoke again "Take a picture it'll last longer"

She may be pretty, but she's annoying as hell.

Then a sudden smirk appeared on her face, "Oh so you think i'm pretty?"

I looked at her like she was crazy... even tho it was the truth

"I can read minds dipshit"

Shit.

She just sat there and laughed...

Little shit

I rolled my eyes and then my dad interrupted before and argument broke out

"This is Y/n, she's 17 like you"

"Yeah, in human years" she snickered

"Anyways, you are gonna be watching her while we go out and try to find the others" He spoke.

This is just great.

I'm just trying to enjoy my summer in peace but no.

"Trust me pretty boy, i'm not very stoked about it either"

'Pretty Boy' I thought... she's so irritating so... why did i like it when she called me that?

But it doesn't change the fact that She just had to come along and fuck everything up...
