Carrots And Apples

It looks like Thoma found a good friend. Or maybe even more?

When you were done eating your snack, you finally stood up from the ground and went to the door. You opened it and went over to the dog you saw when Thoma dragged you inside.

"Hey there, you're a cutie, you know that?" you started talking to the puppy while petting it. It had soft fur.

"You like him?" Thoma walked behind you. You turned around and nodded with a big smile on your face.

"Alright then, I'll leave you here with him. Take care, Y/N!" he gave you one final smile, then walked out of the teahouse. Now was your time.

You started to explore the small building. It didn't have too many rooms, but you liked it. There was one room that you really liked though. It was the one that you and Thoma came out from. It was nice and cozy and dark, a perfect place to sleep at. There was a table at the back, you climbed under it and seated yourself. Soon, you laid down on the floor and quickly fell asleep. It was just too good there.

Meanwhile Thoma was searching for her friend, Ayaka. She went to the Raiden Shogun's place, in hope she'll meet her. But she went there with no luck, Baal wasn't there.

Thoma saw Ayaka going down the stairs, and he ran over to her.

"Ayaka! There you are!" he waved. Ayaka turned around to face him.

"Oh, Thoma, what brings you here?" she asked.

"Umm, so" he cleared his throat. "I've found a girl a few days ago, and ummm.. I brought her into the teahouse. And I just wanted to ask if she can stay." Thoma finally asked.

"Sigh, alright. But who's that girl?" Ayaka asked. She didn't look really pleased.

"Actually, I don't know. And she doesn't know either." Thoma looked down. Ayaka just sighed.

"Is she at the teahouse now?" she asked. Thoma nodded. "Alright, then let's go visit her."

Thoma and Ayaka started going back to the teahouse. On the way Thoma stopped to buy some carrots, since you really liked them and he was almost out of stock. He stopped at the grocery shop that was the closest to them, but unfortunately, they didn't have any carrots.

"Then can I buy some apples?" Thoma asked. The salesman nodded, and handed over a few apples to the blonde man. Thoma payed, then he and Ayaka continued their way back to the teahouse.

"So she likes carrots?" Ayaka broke the silence.

"Yeah, she loves them. Strange, right?" he laughed. "It's a shame they don't have any more carrots left. Let's just hope she'll like these apples too."

When they finally arrived to the teahouse, they couldn't find you anywhere. Thoma started tkt get worried. Your wounds haven't healed fully yet, and you still had a broken rib.

"Y/N, where are you?" he and Ayaka yelled. Suddenly, an old man walked in through the door.

"Who are you searching for?" he asked.

"Execuse us sir, have you seen a young lady, about this tall with H/C H/L hair? She had E/C eyes, and she was wearing an oversized white shirt." Thoma started to explain.

"Oh, you mean the little girl that was sleeping under that table over there?"

"Ye- wait she was doing what?" Thoma asked, surprised.

"I took her to my house, she looked so peaceful and harmless. Also, she was really injured. You shouldn't leave her like that, young man." the old man explained. Thoma and Ayaka took a sigh of relief.

"Sir, can you please take us there?" Ayaka asked. The old man nodded and told the two of them to follow him.

He took them to a small cottage, and in the cottage to a small room. There was a bed, and on a bed a small little something, that kind of looked like a human. Although it looked more like a larva.

Thoma went over to the larva like thing that was probably you and touched it's back. You turned around to face him. You quickly jumped out of your covers and hugged Thoma tightly. You were happy to see him. After you let go of him you finally saw the old man and Ayaka.

"She's pretty. Is she your girlfriend?" you blurted out. Ayaka looked a little confused, and Thoma just laughed.

"You know, if you looked younger, I'd say you were a child." he chuckled. You looked offended and turned away from him. He then got something out of his pocket. It was red and round. It looked like it was an...

"Here, and apple. I couldn't buy carrots, but I hope you like these too." he said.

"No thanks. Barbatos loved apples, and I always had to eat with him. I got bored of it." you said. Thoma dropped the apple from his hand, and Ayaka and the old man also looked like they saw a ghost.

"Execuse me miss, how do you know about Barbatos?" the old man asked.

"Oh, I don't actually know. But he is a real drunkard, trust me." you continued.

"Tell me, what else do you know about the archons?" Ayaka asked, concern in her eyes.

"Well, I know rather lot about the geo, anemo and electro archon. Morax is the god of contracts, and he literally never has any money with him. Then there's Barbatos, who's a really funny and kind guy, but he's drunk 24/7. Oh and also, he loves apple. Then there's Baal. She's.. Really self-cornered. And I don't really like her, if I could I'd fight her all the time."you said. You remembered all this, even though you were suffering from memory loss. Talking about these three brought happiness to you, and you laughed a little, finally remembering something."There was once a time when Barbatos was so drunk that he fell asleep while eating. His face got covered in food, then me, Morax and Baal left him to pay. Though Morax was supposed to do that, he didn't even had money on him."

"How can you remember all this?" Thoma asked. "It's not like it's bad or anything. It's just... Strange. Why do you have such memories with gods?"

You shrugged. You honestly didn't know, but you wished you did.

"Maybe we should take her to Baal. It seems like you were close with her, Y/N." Ayaka said.

"Was I really close to her?" you asked, sounding a little sad. But then again, if you have such memories with her and the others, that could mean you were close friends. But that would really be strange, just like Thoma said, too.

"Alright then, let's go visit the Raiden Shogun." Thoma said, then quickly picked you up to put you into his neck. He caught you off guard, but with this small action, he lifted your spirits.

"Be careful, children!" the old man said.

"Alright, thank you for taking care of her!" Ayaka said, and then the three of you went to search for Baal..
