Having a crush on your best friend is so stupid. It just makes everything so much more complicated now that your years of friendship is at stake. It gets messy.
Choi Yeonjun knows this but he's still in love with his best friend of 5 years Choi Beomgyu.
Hey you can't blame him for liking Beomgyu. Beomgyu is....well perfect. For starters, he's handsome, smart, really kind, plays the guitar (which is already such a chick magnet move), life of party etc.
Choi Beomgyu is perfect and Yeonjun is so whipped for him.
And like every high school romance story protagonist, Yeonjun haven't confessed his feelings. He tries to but always chickens out and if he gets rejected then things between him and his best friend would get really awkward. He doesn't want to take that risk.
But there are moments where he thinks he should've confessed to Beomgyu. Like right now when he's sitting with Choi Soobin at his lunch table.
"If looks could kill they must have been dead by now. Clam down Yeonjun" Taehyun said when he saw Yeonjun glaring at Soobin & Beomgyu's table.
"I'm not." Yeonjun did a very bad attempt of denying. "Why is he not sitting with us nowadays?"
"You weren't paying attention, were you?" Heuning Kai sighed at his friends obliviousness to his surroundings. "Soobin and Beomgyu are part of the school play. So he's sitting with Soobin to discuss about it."
"The play is tomorrow." Taehyun said looking at Yeonjun. "I know you don't care about it but I feel like Beomgyu would be happy if we come to support him"
"I guess I have to come watch it then." Yeonjun replied.
"Yes you have to. We would have dragged you anyways" Huening Kai laughed and hi-fi-ed Taehyun.
Yeonjun chuckled & went back to looking at Soobin and Beomgyu's table. He really missed spending time with Beomgyu at lunch. Well at least he would be back after tomorrow. He didn't liked him hanging out with Soobin too. Whether it's for play or not.
He didn't payed attention to that Soobin boy before this but right now he looks like his biggest arch nemesis. Ever since the play was announced he's hanging around Beomgyu around him all the time.
Yeonjun haven't even properly talked to his best friend (crush) since 2 weeks. Beomgyu has been so busy with this play he barely has time to hangout with Yeonjun.
He missed him even tho he sees him every day. So close yet somehow so far...
