Beomgyu had Yeonjun's entire attention during the play.
The way Beomgyu said his dialogues, his expressions, the way his emotions looked so convincing all of it was perfect in Yeonjun's opinion.
After the play ended, soon they announced the results. Needless to say Beomgyu's play won. No other play even came close in comparison to his. His team definitely had the best actors, story, costumes, make-up etc. They really went all out with this project.
Beomgyu as the team leader came forward to take the prize and started giving his thank you speech. Yeonjun was so proud of Beomgyu.
"Choi Soobin" Beomgyu said. Yeonjun was confused as he didn't payed any attention to his speech.
Soobin made his way on to the stage, Beomgyu gave him the prize while smiling at him. He took it and started giving his thank you speech.
"What just happened?" Yeonjun asked Kai who was beside him.
"Beomgyu called Soobin on stage because he thinks Soobin is worthy of the prize as much as he is. He helped him a lot at times where he was stuck with this project." Heuning Kai explained and Yeonjun hummed in understanding.
Soobin's speech ended and he looked at Beomgyu smiling. The auditorium filled with students started to applauding.
"Are they together or something. They're so cute-"
"I don't know. I never really saw them together before this. Maybe they got closer cause of the play."
"Woah. Getting closer cause of a project. What a typical high school love story. Omg my soogyu ship is sailing."
Yeonjun heard the girls in the front talking about their "Soogyu" ship. He suddenly got up and started heading towards the exit.
"The program ended anyways. There was no point in staying." He thought to himself and left.
