" Ugh, Mum do you know where my wand is?" I shouted out of my room.

I heard feet shuffle up the stairs, then my mum popped in the room. " did you lose your wand again?"

I said, " uhhhh no. I miss placed it, I just set it down on my dresser and now I can't n find it"

My mum huffed, " so you lost it"

" yeah, yeah I Guess so"

My mum mumbled , " accico y/n's wand"

My wand flew out from under a book on desk into my mum's hand. I looked up at her mouth agape " I could have sworn I put my wand on my dresser." I looked between my desk and dresser confused.  " I swear all my things grow legs and run away from me!"

My mum laughed and said, " I highly doubt that, now come on y/n you got to get ready so we can get you to the train on time so get dressed"

I sighed, " ok ok where's dad?"

" oh... he didn't tell you he left early this morning, he's working at your school this year?"

I looked at her in shock, " uhm no he didn't actually... what position did he get?"

She smiled, " defense against the dark arts"

I looked at her suspiciously. " your telling me, Remus lupin, my dad, wanted to not only teach annoying children, but he also wanted to be in the cursed dada position?"

My mum sighed, " it not cursed, it just takes a bit for the right person to come upon the job."

She looked at her watch and shot up, " get dressed now y/n and, don't forget to pack a carry on bag with stuff to entertain you, the poor owl can't handle anymore of your boredom letters to me and your dad. "

I laughed, " im sorry I just like to inform you on my every movement, but yeah I'll keep down on the letters"

My mum said, " okay thanks, meet me down here in five minutes alright?"

I nodded. My mum tossed my wand onto my bed and left the room.

I went over to my dresser, I picked a red sweater with a pair of light blue ripped jeans and my black high tops, I put my tear drop necklace on, along with a few rings. I left my hair alone since it wasn't frizzy and my curls weren't tangly so, my best bet was most likely to leave it alone.

I went over to the mirror behind my door to check my outfit and hair. They both look good, I went over sprayed perfume on and grabbed my mini backpack to put some entertaining things in it.

I went over to my desk and grabbed the current book I was reading " The Hunger Games" it was a muggle book by someone named Suzanne Collins. Since I was almost finished reading the book I put the second and third in my bag too.

After that I went to my closet to grab my fidget bin. I pulled the bin down from my shelf and pulled out a small circle pop it and a fidget cube. They were muggles toys for stress or in my case if your bored.

I quickly put those in my mini back pack along with a pack of watermelon gum, which was a muggle candy that you could chew for hours if you wanted to. Although it started to taste bad after a while.

After that I grabbed a pair of muggle headphones that were hexed to have all my favorite songs in them. My mum helped me with that one.

After I was sure I had everything I put on my mini backpack and went downstairs to wait for my mum. Once I walked into the room I saw my mum was sitting on the couch looking at some muggle magazine.
