Chapter 2

Sofia's POV

After mum and dad told us about the Medony Empire, I was curious. I have read up about many successful companies but I have never come across Medony Empire. I guess I have not told you what our company is. Our company creates musicals, movies, games and all sorts of entertainment stuff. Of course, they are all in different departments. "Amber, do you know about the Medony Empire?" I asked. "I don't know much but I have read that that company is one of the few that a girl is their heir. Meaning if there is a girl and a boy, the girl will be the heir no matter what. The Medony Empire is a company that creates instruments and music and their instruments are not only affordable but of high quality." Amber replied. 

"Do ya'll still have any work to do?" James asked. Amber and I shook our heads. "Then let's go to a restaurant. I'm starved." James groaned. Amber and I giggled. "Who is driving?" I asked. "No way I am going to let you two drive my car so I will drive," James replied. "You two are going to crash the car if I let you drive." 

~Time skip~

James's POV

As we walk into the restaurant, we saw a girl trying to shake a boy's hand off her wrist, "Let go of me!" She ran and bumped into Amber. "Hey! Watch where you are going!" Amber shouted. "I...I am sorry," she apologised and went off. Just then, I saw a bracelet lying on the floor. It had a crest on it. Piano keys and a letter 'M' written cursively on it. This looks familiar. I wonder where I had seen this before. I picked it up and put it in my pocket. It was too late to go after her now. "Psst. Amber." I whispered. Amber was pissed off. "What!!" I showed her the bracelet, "Do you know what crest this is? Looks familiar." Amber shook her head. "Wait, I'll do a visual search on google." Amber took a picture of the crest and Amber open her eyes widely and gasped after reading the information. "It...its the crest...of...and it be...belongs...to." 

Unknown POV

I just reached home and yet my wrist feels empty. I looked at it and was shocked. "Oh no. Oh no. mum and dad are going to punish me for this... Why is life so hard." I sobbed. I curled while crying. "Why must I get betrayed by so many people."
